An amazing location with typical houses developing an atmosphere of deep emotions and a complete immersion in local traditions. Staff is extremely friendly and the food quality is excellent. We definitely recommend it to everyone visiting the area!

This is a very dated hotel, with very poor food. It’s 20 mins from Petra and pretty inconvenient. Rooms OLD with no views at all. Staff generally unfriendly, and spent whole time looking after a private party group - giving them 5* treatment - although their food was cooked separately and they had full bar. We had no outside space to sit at all, and if you think there’s a bar (which is on hotel map) think on. This is old, tired and not worth the money at all.

Very characteristic external structure, it seems to be in a small village but the rooms are in my opinion very disappointing. The hotel certainly cannot be considered a 5 star. Bathroom with dated furniture, a lot of dust around, stale smell and the toilet water doesn't work very well (but there is little water here, so I tolerate it).

Let's start by saying that it is not a 5 star, probably 3 star, common parts that are decidedly beautiful such as construction and architecture that recalls the surrounding landscape. Spacious rooms although not perfectly clean for a 5 star, especially the carpets. The bathrooms definitely need to be redone if I think about the category of the structure. Good breakfast and dinner with a wide choice, the only thing is that even hot foods must be served hot and not lukewarm or cold.

Lovely looking hotel, let down by weeds and tall grass in the flower beds. Very clean but dark room with no outside window. Tiny bathroom with poor shower. When sitting on loo could touch wall with knees. Food fair. Here at a difficult time for tourism, but staff not very smiley, unlike the rest of Jordan

When we arrived we were immediately impressed by the style. Everything was beautifully done and relatively clean for the location. Rooms: nicely furnished but there is no window to let in some daylight. Food: pretty bad. One buffet with little choice and poor quality. One with 3 menus to choose from, but the fish was inedible. And the chips were so spicy that they would be inedible for anyone who can't tolerate them. Drinks: despite Ramadan, other hotels serve wine and beer. Totally out of place here. Staff: untrained and friendliness is a foreign word. Hamam: skip it and invest the 30JD in something else. So if you choose a hotel yourself, look for somewhere else.

This is a quirky hotel, self styled as a village. The rooms are a series of cottages spread around the property from a central reception area. Security is good with a gate entrance manned 24 hours. Reception smells of cigarettes but is efficient. Our room is a bit weary, bathroom tired and old fashioned and towels need replacing, electrics all look a bit dodgy but they are probably fine. Bed is big and comfy. Room is clean. Breakfast is average and when we were here a bit of a 'bun fight' as two coach parties are staying. Access to Petra takes about 15 minutes drive. This is essentially a tourist hotel with Petra in mind.
