February 6th we had book the event room for a family reunion…. July 16th, 17th and 18th and we had at least 12 rooms rented. Most of this family that stayed doesn’t even live in Oklahoma and only 3 lives in Tahlequah, we were the ones putting it on and don’t live in Tahlequah! Now we went by and confirmed at least 5 times during these last 6 months. On Monday July 12th we found out that there may be an issue so we drive over to figure out what the problem was… to discover that some of the reservations had been put in one of the other family members name. So after a while the young lady was more than helpful and we got everyone’s name put in with their rooms and at this point we had 14 rooms….and the event room was in our name for July 16, 17, and 18….. Thursday we made another trip and let Nancy know that 2 of the rooms we would not need anymore. But Friday something happened and we end up short a room how I don’t understand, but any who, it gets fixed after a few hours. So Friday night went well, Saturday morning we find out that the event room has been rented to someone else on Sunday the 18th of July…and instead of being out of it at midnight we have to be out by 9:00 am then changes a few hours later to 8:00 am….now the young ladies that helped us the most told us at this time we had the event room from 9:00 am Friday July 16th until Sunday July 18th at midnight. And we were suppose to have access to the pool…. Nancy decided she would close her pie shop to let us finish the day in her pie shop because the other family had sent out invitations and didn’t live in Tahlequah…. Now mind you most our family came from out of state. As I continue we find out this morning Nancy words to one of my girls that, “that she had to close her store because of us.” Now is it really our fault or hers …. Now mind you she’s the manager. So to hold my tongue I decided to go to the pool to relax to find it closed… so I asked what the deal was oh we had to put chemicals in it because of all the rain and it won’t be open till maybe late today or tomorrow…so I reminded Nancy that the party was to have use of the pool and her reply was , “you have to have a room rented to use the pool.” I walked away because it was best! So needless to say we packed up and left her business in time she could have opened it back up. Now mind you we turned one person away, now we would have fed them but I’m sure they wanted something else….in saying all this the refrigerator was not very cold the door was broke and you had to make it close all the way and the oven would not work right it took an hour to cook crescent rolls and 2 hours on hi boil to warm up baked beans and fried chicken which is terrible! Now the complainant made to us was she was loosing lots of money by not having her pie shop opened…. Understand they made at least 2500.00 of this family, are we that greedy that the mistake was on her part as a manager not ours several times we were told that we were covered to discover

Bed linens not clean. AC kept shutting off. Flies in room and in coffee maker which ended up in my coffee. Fireworks shooting off in the parking lot after 10:30 pm. Crusty carpet. Whatever cable they have is like watching tv in the 70s. Smells old.

There were a couple small reasons I gave this 3 instead of 5 stars. 1) The foot of both beds in our room were higher than the head of the beds. I assume this is due to age of the mattresses. 2) The comforters on the beds were old, stained, and torn. But I believe it was actually washed, it was just old. **Now for the positives*** This is a no-frills (but clean) place if you just want a place to sleep. It is clean - just push the comforter off and use your own blanket. It was very affordable and the location was great for us (we were visiting Lake Tenkiller). The staff was very nice, and the cutest kitty cat was in the lobby to greet me when I walked in.

Our room was nice, but the walls are thin! We could hear the person in the next room snoring all night. The next day, when getting ready near the sink you could hear the dog in that room barking through that wall for hours. The people must have left the dog in the room by itself while they went out. The person next to us also had a dog. When they came in after midnight the dog was barking. I love dogs but this was ridiculous! There is no one at the front desk overnight to report the incident. When management arrived the next morning at 8am I complained about the excessive noise, but they did not do anything to try to compensate us for the noise issues. It would be nice to have someone on the site to deal with these noise issues immediately as they are happening. They need to either soundproof their walls or move all the people with dogs to one section so the rest of their guest can have a good night sleep and relaxing stay.

Our family used the Ten Killer Lodge for a celebration of life event. The facility was perfect for our large group with a lot of kiddos. We also used Nancy's for catering. For both the facility needs and the food, the team was on top of it. When the group was larger than expected and food was running low, Nancy & Team were proactive and creative to make sure we had enough for everybody. And I'm not exaggerating, people ran to line up as Nancy's incredible desserts were laid out. Thank you to the Lodge, Nancy, and the team for making the event go so smoothly.

They stole my money! I reserved a room for Feb 6 and 7th. They didn't keep my reservation. Then gave me some B. S. room that wasn't what I wanted and the showerhead poured water! I found all this out after paying for the room. I immediately went to the front desk where the counter girl told me they sold my room and I could either stay in what they gave me or check out and leave! I chose to leave. I was told I would be refunded and was given a receipt. After 5 days the $200 charge disappeared from my bank app but the $200 dollars never reappeared! Where's my $200? This place is s**t!!! I will never spend money on any Tenkiller again!

I didn’t like anything. This place was so disgusting. Bugs everywhere, horrible customer service, worst experience ever. I was also disgusted by the management.I complained about some few things and nobody seemed interested

I had family come into town and my little brother really wanted to go swimming so we booked this lodge. As soon as we got to our room we realized the beds are extremely uncomfortable and pillows are flat. Nothing like a hotel bed, horrible night’s sleep. We then went down to the pool, the worst. It’s a heated indoor pool with no type of cooling/ventilation (ridiculous). After noticing this because no one could enjoy swimming in a sauna. about 30 minutes after checking in we asked for a refund because it’s just all around a bad deal, should’ve been able to get one but were told we couldn’t. The lady working was super rude when we were telling her about the pool situation. Woke up this morning to heat up our breakfast (also a poor little breakfast) and out microwave doesn’t work. I think the lodge being under construction is the least of this places worries.

Went here end of May with two teenage girls. Expected basic but room was Grotty!! Bed was made of bricks , pillow made of cement. Barely slept all week. Location so far from main ***** and manager Nancy is very unapproachable. Doesn't like to be bothered by guests requests. Not in right job as they are not welcoming or hospitable people! The apts are nice on outside but grotty inside. Yuk! Couldnt wait to go home to sleep and feel clean hated the 'hospitality' here. Rip off!!
