Coral Sun Villas

Beware! My family and I rented villa Tranquil through Coral Sun Villas for 2 weeks over the Summer. On arrival it was clear the villa had not been cleaned although beds were made up. The place was filthy. Broken toilet seats, Dirty crockery, glasses and utensils in the cupboards with dried food on them, floors were unwashed with hair everywhere and most surfaces greasy and dirty. Pillows were heavily stained and no bedding protectors. The pool was dirty as was the outside dining area. These are just a few of the many issues we found and to say the place was tired is an absolute understatement; its exhausted! Certainly not as advertised in the pictures. We contacted the company to discuss our concerns over the lack of cleanliness and found them to be dismissive and rude – one of the phrases used by them – well it’s not my house so I don’t know what you want me to do. “Clean it please” was my response. I could go on as I feel strongly that when you have worked hard to save for a much-needed holiday the very least you should expect to receive is clean accommodation and respectful communication. This was not our experience at all and this review serves only to warn others to be careful of renting from this particular company.

Firstly , we found the villa to be clean and more or less as it says on the internet advertising so I will not moan too much however our biggest problem was the lack of hot water . An attempt to rectify this by the owner /manager was made but I'm afraid our issues were never dealt with . There should be an immersion heater that is accessible by guests , we shouldn't have to keep on sending text messages to get it fixed , it has clearly been an issue for a while . So FIX IT. The whole exterior could do with redecoration The pool table hasnt got any balls The table tennis table is in poor condition Air conditioning cost 6 euro per day per unit (18 euro per day ) in my opinion that is extortionate. 50 euro for the week is plenty Kitchen cupboard door not attached Kettle doesn't automatically stop! Not one English speaking channel on t.v although there is a satelite dish but doesn't work Sorry guys it's not a bad place but you need to look after your guests a little more Get to the place modernised and decorated and sort out the ridiculous hot water situation We come to cyprus every couple of years but I think we will be going a bit more upmarket next time
