Nach einer freundlichen Begrüßung bei der Ankunft wurde uns ein sauberes Zimmer in der Dependance zugewiesen. Als wir am Abend mit 7 Personen um 21:45 Uhr noch etwas trinken wollten, beklagte sich das Personal untereinander, dass man nun deshalb länger arbeiten müsse. Unserem Zimmer gegenüber befand sich eine Diskothek, die uns in beiden Nächten mit ihren Bässen und den grölenden Besuchern bis morgens um 5 Uhr den Schlaf raubte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, aber von allem gab es nur das preiswerteste. Bei der Abreise den Krach angesprochen, kam nur ein: es tut uns leid. Als Abendessen servierte man mir das trockenste und zäheste Schweinefilet, das ich jemals gegessen habe, eine besondere Kunst bei Schweinefilet. Die Spätzle mit der Soße waren jedoch sehr gut. Zusammengefasst bleibt jedoch nur der Schluss: Diese Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen!

The hotel is located in a small town outside of Öhringen … 30 minute walk into Öhringen… The hotel staff, Martin and all, are excellent hosts. They are always pleasant and attentive. After 30+ years of traveling to numerous countries, I can honestly say that this hotel is in my Top 3 … Food is excellent and the prices are too !! Perfect hotel to stay at when doing business in Öhringen. 10/10 to all the staff at the hotel and thank-you for your excellent hospitality. Craig

Das " Landhotel" liegt mitten im Industriegebiet des ansonsten hübschen Ortes Pfedelbach. Neben einer laufen Fabrik stört vor allem die direkt gegenüberliegende Discothek bis 5 Uhr morgens, lärmende Poser-Fahrzeuge und laute Besucher. Vor allem im Dachgeschosszimmer des Haupthauses hat man den Lärm direkt unterm Fenster. Im Sommer ist es heiß im relativ kleinen Dachzimmer, deshalb kaum möglich, das Fenster zu schließen. An Nachtruhe nach einer anstrengenden Radtour war nicht zu denken! Ansonsten wäre es ein gutes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, sauberen Zimmern und gutem Restaurant. Sehr schade. Beim Bezahlen kam nur eine Entschuldigung und eine Flasche Sekt ( sehr praktisch für Radler mit Gepäck!) Es wurde aber zugegeben, dass man das Problem kenne! Dann kann man aber zumindest die direkt betroffenen Zimmer nicht vermieten!!!
