This is a very very kind family, that really want what is best for their guests. They asked if we had alletgies, because they serve a different breakfast set every morning with specialties of the area and the season. Also they checked if the train we wanted to take, really stopped in Phetburi. I received a note in Thai to take to a taxidriver if we needed to go to the busstation. Really impressed, we will stay again if ever in Phetburi again.

Owner s wife was very dry n that s the only consolation. Room is small and very very basic. There were washing liquids, toilet rolls, towels. No cups, no hot water. Bathroom setting was inconvetly arranged. You don't feel comfortable. Check out time was at 11am which isn't a standard norm. I rented an old bike but broke down after an hour ride. Next day the man owner replaced a much lousier one which wobbles in the road. I got another bike again an old one. I can say the man owner is too profit motivated tat he has no conscience of how client feels. Dun ever stay in this cheap hotel

From what I gathered, this seems to be a private house converted into a hotel. It's quite clean. Very, very modest. You can take a shower. I don't share the glowing reviews about breakfast. Yes, there's a kind mother and daughter, and a father who pretends to be kind. But for breakfast, we got, God knows, maybe 50 grams of yellow sweet (for some reason) noodles, a dragon-fly style compote, which I assume was homemade, a Thai national delicacy of sweet sticky rice wrapped in a palm leaf, and a few slices of apple. If one person were to eat all three portions, maybe they'd be full, but we'll never know. Perhaps it's because we asked for a vegetarian breakfast. Other guests got the same thing, but instead of the sweet rice in palm leaves, they received three fried donuts (also a Thai national dish). Overall, out of desperation, I guess it's okay, but if you have the option for something more substantial, choose something more substantial.

This was a very nice hotel with a lovely family who were very welcoming and helpful. They created beautiful breakfasts and were very considerate to dietary needs. The hotel is next to the river and close to town centre facilities. The room was excellent with a great shower - very appreciated!

Lovely home stay in the center of town.
The family who runs it is super helpful and sweet. Breakfast was delicious, with local specialties. The location is excellent as it’s walking distance to everywhere interesting in town.
Only minor gripe was that the beds were a little hard and I’d love a ceiling fan, even if the room had well-functioning AC
Would not hesitate to come back.

I was skeptical that a homestay could be rated so highly but now I understand why. It truly did feel like a homestay, as the family were present and tried to create an authentic local experience for their guests. Our hosts toured us through the city to a market and temples, it was a great experience and kind gesture. If you want to make connections with people while travelling I recommend this homestay!

The family gave us a very warm welcome. They were a valuable source of information. The riverside location is fantastic. The rooms are clean, though a bit small. The Thai breakfast is very generous. Highly recommended.
