Stunning views and impeccable service. Staff very friendly, room very clean. Ipad that facilitates a number of requests was DOA, required a bunch of jiggling before it would charge, and would lose charge very quickly if not on the charger. Apart from that minor inconvenience, the stay felt very luxurious.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Philadelphia with our dog for one night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We live nearby in the Philadelphia suburbs, and as frequent Four Seasons guests at other properties, we had been curious about staying at our local location, since we’ve only ever visited for dining. The hotel’s location high above the city is unique and stunning, and it has a lot to offer in terms of amenities. However, given how expensive it is, we did find that there were still some things that could be tightened up to have a stay commensurate with the high room rates. Trip Planning: As I always do when booking a Four Seasons, I reserved through a Preferred Partner travel agent, which enabled us to get free perks (I highly recommend doing this). For no extra cost, our reservation included a room upgrade based on availability at check-in, priority early check-in and late check-out, a $100 hotel credit, and a breakfast credit of $87 each morning which could be used at Skyhigh or in-room dining. Prior to arrival, using the Four Seasons app, the staff was helpful in making spa appoin**ents and dining reservations. The dining assistance is particularly useful, since the hotel restaurants are all very popular with non-hotel guests. You can book them up to 60 days in advance as a hotel guest, as opposed to 30 days in advance otherwise. Arrival: I messaged the hotel in the app on the morning of our arrival to see if I could get an idea of when our room might be available, and was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready for us at 10:00 am. When we’ve visited as non-hotel guests, we’ve observed that staff service at the entrance always seems pretty poor, with no one holding the doors open or really greeting anyone. Arriving as a hotel guest was no different. We pulled up when it wasn’t particularly busy, and I saw one of the valets watch us arrive, but take no action to come right over and greet us like I expect from a luxury hotel. He did eventually come over, and was friendly enough, but there’s a lack of proactive effort from the valet and door staff here, which makes a poor first impression. The ground floor entrance area also has a couple people at a desk whose role I have not been able to figure out (they rarely greet anyone, and just seem to stand there). Check-in itself was ultimately good, but started on the wrong foot. I was checked in by a trainee (as noted on her name tag) who seemed well-meaning, but wasn’t ready to work independently. She went through the process painfully slowly and in an unpolished manner not at a luxury hotel level. An example would be her explanation of our breakfast credit, which was along the lines of “You can use the credit for in-room dining. In-room dining is when you call us and we send food to your room.” I did really appreciate that Mallory, the Front Desk Manager, was at the desk at the time and seemed to sense how it was going. She came over and immediately expedited things a

My visit to this GEM of a hotel was the best any guest can ask for! Kai and Leonard at the Front Drive are AMAZING! Abe, the doormen who worked in the evening with Fernando were very professional and anticipated my needs. Danielle checked me in again with Evan, the Manager. They were very warm and made the arrival experience flawless. Mallory, the front desk manager made sure everything was great during my stay. Aaron, in JG Sky-High and Ben in Vernick Coffee bar always lifted my spirits in the AM. Finally, Hassan one of the housekeeping staff delivered all my requests with a big smile and always asked if I needed anything else! This is the best hotel!

Stayed at the Four Seasons Philly 3 times in Feb 24 and many times previously. On the most recent trips: waiter found a seat for me in the lounge late on a Saturday night when the bar was packed, got upgraded to a suite on a midweek business trip, had cake & prosecco waiting for us for my wife's birthday on a couples trip, valet service is the only consistent hotel in Phila where you can get your car reasonably quickly, it is nice they stop letting people into the bar long before close, so if you are staying there, you have the opportunity to get a seat/drink at the bar, be prepared for a lot of the instagram crowd taking picks in the lobby/restaurant; not saying it's worth the price (that is up to the individual to decide) but there is no doubt this is the place to stay in Phila.

beautiful hotel in a great location. I chose to host my birthday event here - brought in 8 of us to stay at the hotel and started my planning in September. Jump cut to the week of the event and there were so many foul ups it's hard to quantify. It was a very stressful stay and now they're just nickel and diming me to death. On top of that, the room service food was outrageously expensive and extraordinarily mediocre - I paid $50 for two slices of wheat toast, a small pot of coffee and a small bowl of roasted breakfast potatoes. Trying to get them to correct only ended up in more nickel and diming so if I were you, I'd save my money and book at the W.

This was our second stay at this property. I was pleasantly surprised at check-in when told we were being upgraded to a room with better closet/drawer space, since that was something I had noted was lacking when I wrote a review of our previous stay. We did indeed prefer the layout of this room, and it definitely showed an attention to detail and recognition of repeat guests. Service was generally excellent, as one expects from Four Seasons. We had great breakfasts in the restaurant; the second morning, our order didn't print in the kitchen so had to be resubmitted, but they also graciously accommodated some additions to the re-order for additional guests who belatedly joined us (rockstars tend to sleep late, lol), even though it was past the 11 am cutoff, and extended our checkout time. We also very much enjoyed a casual dinner in SkyHigh, the appetizers were varied, interesting and delicious. The property itself is stunning, with a beautiful lobby and gorgeous views. I look forward to our next stay!

I was lucky enough to get to stay at the Four Seasons Philadelphia for a work celebration this past weekend. The hotel is beautiful, decked out in fresh floral arrangements, the room was incredibly clean, the room service and restaurants were delicious, the view was stunning, and the hotel staff was helpful, responsive, and always looking for a way to make my stay better than it already was. I hope to stay here again in the future and would happily recommend it to anyone who was looking to stay in Philadelphia.
