Suprisingly good choice for family. The pool on the 28th floor has great views of South Philly and was a great place to relax and slow down.

AKA University City was the perfect home base during my graduating semester at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. The apar**ents are stylish and comfortable, the amenities luxurious, and the location is incredibly convenient. But honestly, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional staff, especially Diamond at the front desk. From the moment you walk in, Diamond's smile lights up the room. She's so genuinely friendly and helpful – it's like she's known you for years. Even when things were busy, she always made me feel like I was her only guest. During my five-month stay, I also got to know Jim, the managing director, and Khamilah, who consistently went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and that any issues were handled promptly. It's clear they put a lot of effort into making sure everything runs smoothly. If you're a law student (or anyone else!) looking for a place in Philadelphia where you'll feel right at home, check out AKA University City. And when you do, make sure you say hi to Diamond for me. She's a true asset to the hotel and deserves a huge thank you!
