The best thing about this hotel is the staff! They are amazing and always smiling and friendly and working their best in a brand new hotel to assist. To name a few, Marla at the front desk who helped with some minor issues on first night, Martha in housekeeping who looks like she works really hard and keeps a positive friendly attitude every day, and Dave the Bellman who was also very friendly and courteous at the front door and with getting the rental car from valet quickly whenever we needed it! Management though is the weakest part of the hotel. They need to do a better job training. From a security guard who did not know the name of an in hotel restaurant to hearing about multiple tables around us receiving incorrect orders at Carambola (though ours came out ok), and even that first night not having the scannable QR code for menu in our room (but again Marla was super helpful printing out a paper version of the menu for us), the hotel is what I would expect from a place that just told us it was open for only a week so far. I think that the staff is wonderful and with a bit more training this hotel can be top notch. When we went they had not yet opened the spa and daycare area so I can not comment on those. However, the beach on which it is located named Dawn beach is very nice and has great sunrises. The hotel pool and swim up pool bar are great! Very well laid out entertainment area outside. Need better TV - some channels do not work. Overall great hotel!
