We really enjoyed our stay here. Sue immediately made us feel comfortable and was helpful throughout our stay, providing information, advice and help with transportation arrangements. (Special thanks for the tuktuk ride to the Summer Palace!) The hotel itself is quiet, and yet it's very close to the action - bars, cafes, shops and markets. It is very clean and well laid out. The beds are comfortable and we were provided with plenty of bottled water. A good breakfast, cooked to order, is available for a small charge. The pool was terrific, as were the different outdoor spaces we were able to take advantage of. We highly recommend P.U. Inn Resort!

We had asked our tour agency to book this small family run hotel instead of a large new business hotel. We did get offered tours/trips on arrival but as we had a planned tour did not take them up on this but many others did. We had a large room on the second floor with new, very comfortable beds and pillows along with a spacious shower room. We had our own tiny balcony with a lovely sunset view, good for drying our wet gear. There was also a nice communal balcony area with sofas. There is no lift so you do need to carry luggage up two sets of stairs but the ladies will assist. As part of our stay breakfast was included we had a choice of cooked eggs which came with 2 slices of toast, jam and butter followed by a platter of fruit. We had a choice of Tea/Coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice maybe tangerines which was delicious and everything was cooked to order. The owner was friendly and Sue was a great help answering our questions and an absolute asset to the hotel, having lived in England it was easy to chat with her. Would definitely recommend to others. A few things that would enhance our stay further would be to have a safety deposit box in the room, a cabinet or extra shelf in the bathroom (we have a lot of things for 3 people) and the use of pool towels.

Carpark few gates away (under construction house). Messy reception. No elevator, room on 3f and a little boy helped carrying my luggage up as it is a family run business. You need to remove shoes at 2f to walk up to 3f. Saw some guests swimming. Room is very basic, rustic with oldish furniture, furnishings. Shampoo are in small packet form. No conditioner, shower foam but soap provided. Saw a baby cockroach in the room, lizard on wall, bug flew on the bed which was unfortunate for me. Loud music also played till midnight from downstairs. TOTALLY no sound proof. Neighbours came back wee hours and could hear footsteps and conversation... I didn't get any rest. Thankfully, it was one night.

Service is great and people there pay a special attention to their guests. The rooms are perfect for a good rest after visiting temples and swimming in the pool! Warmly recommended! The breakfast is also very good!

This is a very overpriced guest house to which the owners have crammed in a pool and called a resort. So I will review this "Resort" on my expectations as to what I expect for the equivalent price in Thailand. If I had not pre-paid through Agoda I would have got back into the taxi and found another place. Unfortunately, it is virtually impossible to cancel and get your money back with all this no cancellation/refund policy that the industry has created. This "Resort" cost approximately A$ 62 (US$45) per night. They rate it as 3 star which must be self rated as I am sure it would battle to get a 1 star rating in most countries. On arriving at the front of the "resort" it definitely does not look as clean & pristine as the picture posted on here. The white tables and chairs around the pool have been removed and they have been replaced by massive black beach beds. There is no lobby, just an open office type space with a table and tv. The person on duty could not speak english and could not find our booking. Eventually the owner arrived and pulled it up on her phone. I had booked a twin room but was dutily informed they did not have twin rooms. I informed her this was not acceptable and was shown a another room with a doule & single bed, which we reluctantly accepted. Everything was odd and old. The sofa was dirty and we never sat on it during our stay (3 nights) From what I saw of other rooms all the beds and furniture were old and different and I would presume all bought 2nd hand. The only redeeming features was that the room, bathroom and linen were clean. Everbody's expectations are different depending on what they are used too. Some rate this high, others low. Just depends on the individuals standards. Pros: quiet good location wifi the male staff very friendly and helpful 2 minutes walk to restaurants & bars small pool Cons: very over priced shocking old & odd furniture very dangerous slippery floors in the bathroom you can hear people talking in the next door room no actual checkin or lobby

I had booked and paid for two rooms for three nights for our stay. When we arrived we were told that only one room was available for the first night. She said that the three of us could share a room.My brother did not want to do that.So we had to walk to find another hotel. She offered no apology. She is a very bossy woman. When we were leaving she even asked us to leave a good review. I could not recomend this hotel
