Our motorcyle tour group came here - service was good. Public areas incl pool were very clean and good. Room needed some maintenance. WiFi was good. Food was only average - not much imagination or variation.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The property is well located and has a good swimming pool area. Staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. The food served is good. Cleanliness was the major issue with this property. The property is old and can be said to be greatly maintained if they just work on the cleanliness.

Few things Front office have to be careful they gave same room to different family and anyone can open the door that was embarrassing They don’t have double beds instead they join 2 beds and an couple cannot sleep together as the floor is slippery and the beds slide away ie embarrassing Food ok pillows uncomfortable

During our stay at Bhutan we quickly realized that these past few years at COVID have not been kind to the country and its people. With tourism trickling back in, many hotels are not yet ready in putting out their best presentation of what they can offer. Most of it is definitely forgivable. Sadly our stay at Tashi Nam*** Grand was not one of them. Knowing how Phuentsoling usually acts as a transit spot before traveling up north to more touristy spots, we didn’t come to the hotel with very high hopes in the first place. According to our guide, we were upgraded to a larger deluxe room since we were foreigners. However this “deluxe” room was absolutely horrible, and definitely does not resemble the photos I saw from other reviews here (the standard rooms). The sofas, tables, and closet were heavily covered with dust. The shower head at the bathtub was so broken that water was coming out in 3 different directions. When I switched to the rain shower, it proceeded to make a huge noise and then almost fell on me. I didn’t even try to use the floor shower because a few spiders were living there. The beddings were heavily stained as well. I wish I had taken photos, but you might be able to find it elsewhere. Complements to the staff to try their best - they come in late evening to change the bedsheets for us. However, in the middle of the night we found there were quite a lot of spiders and other insects staying near the bed. Some were clicking around us and made it really hard to fall asleep or feel safe. The only saving graces were the a-la-carte Indian food and the aforementioned courteousness of the staff. That said, when I was settling the bill, the staff had a huge challenge making the proper calculations which delayed our departure in the morning as well. Our trip to Bhutan was mostly amazing and memorable. Sadly, our stay here was memorable for wildly different reasons.

We stayed for one night in way to Paro. We had dinner and breakfast and on return we stopped over for Lunch. They did serve Indian Food which was reasonably good. Service was excellent. Rooms are large but facilities need upgrade. It has a well maintained swimming pool. Mostly used for transit and is okay for purpose. Plumbing needs to be redone as number rooms water supply was erratic

A group of 10 persons checked into Tashi Resort on 10th November, and again on 19th November. Their economy class rooms are in very good shape. However, on the second stay (19th Nov), their local agent goofed up and after some delay we were upgraded to superior category (Delux) rooms. Surprisingly, the Delux rooms are really bad. The tubs were leaking, the rooms were stinking, the flush tank did not work, and several problems. Since it was around 7 p.m. the hotel staff could not get any help from the plumber. It is to the credit of the staff that they were extremely police inspite of the group bereating them for the poor services.
