Our experience at Anantara was nothing short of amazing. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable mattresses and fresh linens. The beach was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The service was top-notch, and the pool was fantastic. We also enjoyed the hotel’s restaurants—the food was excellent. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

This resort at Mai Khao Beach, Phuket, is perfect for a relaxing stay before heading home! 🌴 For my trip to Phuket, I chose a resort near Mai Khao Beach for the last few days. It's incredibly close to the airport, which is a huge plus for the journey home! The hotel is located on Mai Khao Beach in northwest Phuket, just a 15-minute drive from the airport. If you have an early flight or don't want the hassle of a long commute on your last day, staying here is an absolute dream. I'd heard that the Orchid Hotel had lots of greenery like a garden, but stepping into this place, I felt like I'd entered a 'tropical jungle'! The privacy is exceptional, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by lush vegetation. That feeling of being enveloped by nature is so therapeutic, completely free from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas. You can walk straight to Mai Khao Beach. Although it's a bit out of the way, Mai Khao Beach (Phuket's longest beach) is just a short stroll away. It's quiet and uncrowded here, and the sand is very fine, perfect for a leisurely walk or just chilling out.

The room was surprisingly spacious. However, I wouldn't book a villa again if I were to return; the private pool accumulated a lot of leaves and bird droppings by the second day. Getting around also required calling for a car every time, which was a minor inconvenience. On the other hand, the large main pool was very comfortable – I spent a whole afternoon relaxing there. There were also plenty of activities for children, so both adults and kids had lots to enjoy. Overall, it's worth recommending.

Aside from being pricey, this hotel is flawless. The service is exceptional, and I had a very comfortable stay. The staff's attitude and work quality are top-notch. However, the on-site dining options are just average and also quite expensive. This hotel offers great privacy and discretion, especially compared to more mainstream hotels. It's very quiet and not overly crowded, making it an excellent choice for a getaway. The only downside is that dining options are limited nearby, so I'd recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here, as it would make eating out much more convenient.
