Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. Even though it's located on a cliff, there are shuttle services to the main road below, available on-demand, which is pretty convenient. All the in-room essentials are there, but the pool light was broken, and the outdoor ambient lights were also out. The strange thing is that the room next door had working lights, but ours didn't, and no one fixed them during our two-night stay. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was decent. The water quality was better than expected; I heard that Phuket's water quality wasn't great, so I brought a shower filter, but the filter core barely changed color. Everything else was fine. Environment: I booked this place specifically for the beachfront pool environment, so I was quite satisfied with that. Service: The check-in, check-out, and in-stay services were all pretty good. I was actually planning on giving a five-star review before checking out. However, after checking out, they asked where we were going and offered to call a car for us. Initially, we thought the location might be hard to find, so having them arrange a car, paid or not, would be convenient, and we readily agreed. After they called the car, we were told it would cost 800 THB. We felt it was a bit high, but we thought maybe they called a more comfortable vehicle, so we paid without much thought. But when we got outside, it was just a small, old car. After being dropped off at the next hotel, we realized it wasn't that far away, and a quick check showed that a self-booked taxi would only cost 260 THB. This is ridiculous! Are they taking Chinese tourists for a ride?! I was so happy with my stay, but this left a terrible taste in my mouth. One-star review, one-star review, one-star review!

This hotel has truly set a new low for 'influencer' hotels. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member who travels frequently and stays in hotels year-round, I feel compelled to give an honest review to my fellow travelers. This was, without a doubt, the most disappointing hotel of my Phuket trip, and frankly, the worst experience I've had in all my years of traveling worldwide. First off, this is a typical 'influencer' focused property. To be precise, it's not a hotel at all, but rather pure hotel-style apartments, with no discernible standards. Firstly, amenities are virtually non-existent, apart from a small, communal 'influencer' swimming pool, clearly designed purely for photo ops. Almost no one actually uses it for swimming; it's practically deserted except for a few individuals posing for photos at nearby tables. There's absolutely no holiday atmosphere. The staff all have cold expressions, look very young, and many seem like temporary hires who were put to work without proper training. They often don't know the answers to questions and just stare blankly. The same goes for phone calls – you get passed around, and then calls often go unanswered. Furthermore, the hotel has virtually no other facilities. Getting in and out of the hotel is incredibly inconvenient. It's built on a steep hillside, with very narrow and winding roads. Even within the hotel itself, there are many narrow, steep inclines, making it almost impossible to get around without the hotel's shuttle. However, there aren't many shuttles available, and you have to call far in advance. Otherwise, you'll be waiting in the scorching heat, calling repeatedly, only to be told it's 'on its way' without an estimated time or the ability to book. If you try to book, they say the shuttle can't wait, and you have to call once you've arrived at your destination. The hotel's location is also very far from the beach. It's accessed via a desolate, single-lane road, and many taxis are even unwilling to go there. Consequently, staying here means you're pretty much confined to your room. As for the room's interior, beyond the standard hotel apartment amenities like a kitchen and utensils, there's basically nothing else. There weren't even disposable slippers or a tote bag. Toiletries were generic brands in large, shared dispensers. Forget about souvenirs. The mini-bar selection was on par with a 500-yuan hotel – a couple of Cokes, Sprites, and two beers. While there were some small bottles of Jack Daniel's and vodka, please note that all of these require payment! What truly deserves criticism are the interior facilities of the room. You'll understand once you see it firsthand – it's absolutely nothing like the luxurious images advertised. The furniture is very old and worn, the sofa and bathtub are dirty and antiquated, and many curtains and lights are broken. Even a decent five-star hotel over ten years old wouldn't be maintained this poorly anywhere, it's astonishing. The room's decor is incredibly plain; 'minimalist' is being generous. The entire room, upon entering, consists of just a large table and a sofa, so empty that voices echo. It has a stark, 'raw concrete' style, and the TV is also very small. Even hanging a few pictures on the wall would make it less desolate. I have no idea what the designer was thinking. The so-called 'influencer' private pool and sea view in each room are misleading. Only the living room faces the sea; the entire room is a narrow strip. Initially, three of us booked a two-bedroom unit, but the two small bedrooms behind the living room had windows facing walls, which felt incredibly cramped. So, we paid an extra 1,000+ yuan to upgrade to a three-bedroom duplex. At least in the upper-level bedroom, one side faced the sea and the other inland, offering a window view and making it less stifling. However, apart from the master bedroom, the other two bedrooms still had beds with both ends right up against a wall. The most useless part was that besides the master bedroom, the other two rooms had two single beds, each only 80cm wide – bizarre! Finally, let's talk about cleanliness. It's on par with an apartment standard. By the outdoor pool, there was a yellow stain, perhaps fruit juice or something, attracting many ants. I knew calling service would be a hassle, so I cleaned it myself because I was truly disgusted, and I didn't even bother taking photos. Oh, and the breakfast. It's purely à la carte, with nothing fancy. Typical brunch fare – eggs, bread, etc. The most 'premium' item was probably the smoked salmon on the Eggs Benedict. We even ordered a bowl of plain noodles, which we had to send back after one bite. In summary, unless you're a content creator solely aiming for 'influencer' photos, there's absolutely no need to be so self-destructive as to spend thousands here to waste your time and suffer. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation or traveling with family and children, absolutely avoid this place! Anyway, the hotel only has about thirty rooms, so they probably operate on the principle of 'scamming' as many as they can.

The hotel's decor leans towards a modern minimalist style, and the ocean view from the room is truly beautiful! The living room and balcony are very spacious and comfortable. The only minor downside is that you can't directly access the beach; you need to take the hotel's shuttle or walk for about 10-15 minutes. The breakfast isn't particularly varied, but the made-to-order option makes up for it!

My overall stay had its ups and downs, so I'll share my objective thoughts. The hotel's location is excellent, making getting around very convenient, and the surrounding area is pleasant. The room was spacious, with a wide-open view and fantastic scenery, making for a very comfortable stay. However, the shortcomings were quite apparent: the overall amenities were rather basic, and the service was generally lacking. The breakfast experience was mediocre; food was slow to come out, and the staff's service awareness was poor, with slow response times. I hope the hotel can improve its service and breakfast efficiency, as the overall hardware and location are definitely commendable.

The environment is beautiful, but it's a bit inconvenient as you need to use their shuttle to get in and out of the hotel. From the hotel, it's about a 20-minute walk to Kata Beach, and there are many small restaurants nearby.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kata Rocks. The design is stunning, the views over the Andaman Sea are breathtaking, and the atmosphere feels effortlessly luxurious yet relaxed. The villas are immaculate, the infinity pool is one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere, and every detail feels thoughtfully considered. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay, and the food was excellent – breakfast in particular was a real highlight. Kata Rocks strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury, privacy, and a peaceful escape. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special in Phuket.

Terrible! Most of the staff were outwardly friendly, but their attitude changed completely once you turned your back – it was like they despised people. Only one girl who spoke Chinese was very nice. The others were all fake-friendly, which was particularly unnerving. The absolute worst thing was that every night, starting around 10 PM, there would be an incredibly loud banging sound for about ten minutes, every half hour, until 4 AM the next morning. We called the staff, but they couldn't do anything about it. The next day, we had agreed to a 2 PM checkout, but at 1:30 PM, several staff members aggressively burst into our room, shouting and threatening us to pay 5000 Thai Baht.

The hotel's setting is quite pleasant. The living room in the 3-bedroom villa was very spacious, and the master bedroom upstairs was also large. However, the other two rooms were tiny – barely enough space to open a suitcase, and the twin beds were only 0.8 meters wide. Moreover, there was a strong, unpleasant sewer smell in the living room. One tall staff member was particularly rude and arrogant; they never smiled and had a very poor attitude.

We stayed in a two-bedroom villa this time. The space was very generous, with the living room featuring a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen, which was fantastic for cooking our own meals. The only minor drawback was that the beds felt a little small. The breakfast restaurant offered an absolutely stunning view. This place is perfect for family trips. It's also super convenient for shopping, with a 7-Eleven right at the entrance.
