NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort Reviews

The first day checked in the hotel inform us they do upgrading room for us which is old apartment. Not as what we booked based on the picture. The apartment was super old and lots of m mosquito. We request to change the room and the receptionist name Frank telling us they are fully booked. My sister was trying to help talk to them and the way they said not so good. Sounds like a bit rude. After the complaint they let us change the room which is exactly what we booked from the picture online. Attached some of the pics of first room then the second room The pics of the second one is what is the room I selected when I booked. The first room we had was also 5 mins walk to the gym and the pool and for breakfast as well! Pics 1 2 and 3 as from room which was a long way away and had lots of mosquitoes in it. The rest are from the room which we should have had from start! Over all once in the correct room it was a nice hotel and a nice place to stay. Just a shame about the first night and room. 

I just returned from 1 week's stay at the NH Boat Lagoon Hotel in Phuket with my 10 year old son, joined part way through by my 39 year-old son :-) We all felt that the hotel was ideal for a relaxing, chill-out break. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, the pool, fitness centre and other facilities were great and the restaurant and bar served pretty tasty and reasonably priced food and drink. The service throughout was great, as per usual in Thailand, and the buffet breakfast was also quite decent and varied. There was a slight mix-up with the rooms upon arrival, which was not the fault of the hotel, but Frank, the Front Desk Manager, sorted it out amicably and professionally and actually put us in what probably turned out to be a better room than we would otherwise have been in. The hotel rooms are split into 2 sections, some in the main body of the hotel and some near the marina, about 5-10 minutes walk away, with a shuttle-bus services between the two, on demand. Frank suggested we would probably be happier in the main part of the hotel, near the pool and other facilities and he was right, as it was great to be able to come out from the room directly to the pool and restaurant, without having to make the journey from the marina, especially in the heat. There 's quite a large supermarket just a few minutes walk away from the hotel where you can get just about everything you might need and there's also a little launderette and cafe nearby the supermarket, as well as an Ice Rink, if that takes your fancy ! Down by the marina there are several restaurants that all looked pretty nice. We tried the Sushi one and it was amazing and very good value as sushi goes. We also went to the Egyptian restaurant near the hotel and that was delicious too and lovely service. The hotel is also very close the the Royal Phuket Marina, from where you can catch many boat rides to the islands, which makes a great day out ! We also went to the Andamanda Waterpark and it was simply amazing and really good value for a day out with (or without) the kids! The water rides were fantastic, there was a great wave pool (with swim-up bar) that came close to being as good as Disneyworld and there were sun-loungers where you could relax for free, food and drink again at afforadable prices, with unlimited iced water refills for about 3 euros. (You're not allowed to take your own food and drink). All in all I would highly recommend this resort hotel and plan to return there again soon with my wife !

I brought my mom to Thailand for the first time, I’m lucky I booked NH lagoon since the experience is 5/5 and my mom was really happy. The location is quiet and well maintained, the resort feels like home. PLUS, we got lucky enough to witness the once-per-year Chinese New Year celebration right down our room. The whole experience is unforgettable. Definitely will come back again

Location is abit off and far from central places. Don’t expect 5 star treatment. Check in was seamless and easy with a deposit of 1500baht. Rooms are clean. Food is very underwhelming. Breakfast was a shocker, food tastes abit stale and the eggs are served cold. Pool has a time limit. Bicycle rentals too. YouTube works very well in the room. Shower hot and AC works well too. Overall good stay just would make it a night next time.

Spacious and clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Various shops eg grocery, dining, salon within the walkable distance in the boat lagoon complex.

Quiet and nice place to stay. Facilities and breakfast not bad. Suitable for family.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the boats and the view of the pool while having breakfast. The bathroom was a bit small and the rest of the room was big. I would recommend this hotel to any family members traveling together. I also loved the hotel service that drivers to you the main gate and the mini market within the resort.

It was a big and clean room with a balcony. The hotel is big, staff is nice. The breakfast was not really for me, just standard things like fruit, bread, egg station and some hot options. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

My friend and I really enjoyed this hotel, the staff were very friendly and always willing to help.

Excellent motel. Lovely staff. Being on a boat made it a great place to be for repairs etc. Had visa extensions done-without having to go to embassy. Restaurant food was mediocre.
