10 min walk to the beach. The rooms are more worn out and smaller than seen in the photos. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is beautiful and located near Kata Market and the beach. Kata Market is great! The hotel itself is very nice, and it’s really cool that you can open the room door and step directly into the pool. It’s also very convenient to have a shower right after swimming. The lighting at night is amazing. The spa experience was excellent, and the staff were professional. The room is beautiful as well, though a bit expensive. The food was not as good as expected, but it wasn’t bad either.

Good one, nice decorations, but a bit far from the beach. The smell of lemongrass inside the hotel is quite nice. Breakfast ok.

A little gem of a place with a great location. Staff are amazing. The property is nicer by night than by day, the lighting helps to hide the signs of wear and tear. It needs an update but the food made up for all the flaws.

I first discovered Sawasdee Village by chance while walking around in the evening, and the atmosphere absolutely amazed me. It felt like a hidden oasis in the middle of the tourist chaos, so I decided to plan my next trip around staying here. The room itself was small but cozy and very clean, although a bit old and in need of some renovation. I had read about this in reviews beforehand, so I was prepared for it and booked only one night. Honestly, if the rooms were more modern, I would have gladly stayed for a week or longer. On the positive side, everything worked well: Wi-Fi was stable, the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and I loved the canopy and the ceiling with glowing stars. The view from my window overlooked the beautiful garden, and the room even had a humidifier with essential oils, which made it smell wonderful. The property is simply stunning — two pools, a spa, a restaurant, water bars, billiards and table football, as well as plenty of cozy corners to relax in. It was a delight to stroll through the lush garden, sit by the fountains, and swing on the hammocks. Breakfast was included and offered a generous buffet with many choices. In the room I also had a capsule coffee machine, bottled water, tea, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, insect repellent, cookies, and even a flashlight — such thoughtful details. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They helped with my luggage and allowed me to check in 1.5 hours earlier since my room was ready. The location is also convenient, close to the beach and shops, and I loved the little foot shower at the entrance to wash off sand before entering the hotel. As for value — it’s a bit mixed. On the one hand, the unique atmosphere and privacy are worth the price. On the other hand, I noticed that within the same hotel, villas with direct pool access were actually cheaper than the room I booked (although when I reserved my room, the pool villas were more expensive). Still, I think Sawasdee Village is a special place, perfect for a relaxing stay — even for something as romantic as a wedding photoshoot

One of the best hotels ever had, so beautiful, once entered the hotel, we felt like in another world, pool, room, gym, game area, restaurant, perfect mix of Thai and Arabic style. We stayed in the Oasis room, there is a nice garden, in the evening, the way to the room is with the besutiful light, it’s embaded in the way. The pool in the day time and evening time is just wonderful! We stayed everyday in the hotel, because it’s so beautiful. The Location is also good, walking distance to all the locations and beach. They have shuttle bus to the beach, very convinient.
