Facilities: From the lobby to the rooms, breakfast, pool, and even the mini-zoo, every area reflects cleanliness, tidiness, and professionalism. Hygiene: Exceptionally clean! It's a garden-style hotel with 4 pools, and numerous professional, butler-like staff are constantly maintaining it. Even the bottom of the pools are scrubbed clean daily! Environment: No need for many words, just look at the pictures. Service: I stayed at a nearby orchid hotel from August 1st to 5th. After checking out at 12 PM on the 5th, I wheeled my luggage over. Although the two places aren't far apart, walking with a suitcase in the heat was exhausting! I arrived completely soaked. The lobby staff, Eddie and BAO, proactively helped us with our luggage cart. The front desk also offered refreshing iced tea and cold towels, which were much needed! The check-in process was explained in great detail, and we were provided with a map.

The room was quite spacious, but it was incredibly noisy. From evening onwards, there was a constant hum of electricity and the sound of motorcycles. On top of that, the hotel's Wi-Fi was terrible; I mostly had to use my own data.

The environment is great and the location is good. There's a Chinese-speaking front desk. The room has been newly renovated, but the air conditioning is really old and loud even on the lowest setting, which made it hard to sleep at night. It feels like a five-star hotel environment, but with a three- or four-star room.

The hotel is like a beautiful big garden with a superb environment, and surprisingly, not too many mosquitoes. The room facilities were also great, and overall we had a very pleasant stay. There was just one morning at breakfast where, despite plenty of empty tables, I found a four-person table for our group of three and asked a server to clean it and clear the dishes. Instead, a server led us to a two-person table and offered to add an extra chair next to us. After we sat down, I noticed other pairs were also sitting at four-person tables, and it wasn't even like there were no other tables available. Since they'd have to clear a table anyway, why couldn't they have just cleared a four-person table for us instead of making us squeeze into a two-person spot in the aisle with an added chair? Aside from that, the rest of our stay was very good, and the staff we encountered were all quite friendly.

This is a really nice hotel, quite spacious and its location is great. It's a 15-minute taxi ride to Patong center. We really liked it.

The hotel system can supposedly see that we've stayed at Centara Grand at CentralWorld twice before, and I thought their system was quite advanced, even keeping information from ten years ago. However, the room remarks I sent via email were completely ignored. They put us in a room right next to a renovating one. When I asked to change, they repeatedly said there were no other rooms available. It was 4 PM. The manager said it was because we were the last guests to arrive – I can't believe a manager at a five-star resort hotel actually said that. Eventually, they moved us to a different room type, and then again the next day. The room change on the second day took from 12 PM to 3 PM, so we had to wander around for three hours. No compensation was offered; maybe a fruit platter was the hotel's biggest concession. The air conditioning was as loud as a leaf blower. It looked like the vents were just too dirty. The 7-Eleven is by the orchid garden, about a 30-minute walk round trip, which is a bit tiring. Relying on walking to get around really isn't feasible here; even if you're just staying at the hotel, you still have to walk to the orchid garden to get to the store. The pool slides close at 6 PM, so if you're not staying at the hotel all day, you won't get to use them. The regular staff were fine, but the management at this hotel has significant issues. Adding an extra bed for 800 baht without breakfast simply meant putting a sheet and duvet cover on the sofa. No other amenities for children were provided.
