We had a last minute booking at La Casa Rossa but when we got there were met by Luciano saying we'd be staying round the corner in his house (rather than his daughter's). We lucked out - an equally impressive view over the Duomo, delicious and plentiful breakfast (sweet and savoury) and a generous host in Luciano. You are a bit out of the centre and do need a car but Luciano also has safe parking.

Maison d'hôte où l'hôte est exceptionnel. Notre chambre était dans une annexe de la maison principale et était superbe. Tout y est vieillot, mais avec tout le confort moderne requis. La vue sur Piazza Amerina est magnifique, surtout depuis la belle terrasse située à l'arrière. Le petit déjeuner était exceptionnel avec beaucoup de produits du terroir.

Très agréable séjour, avec une vue magnifique sur la ville depuis les terrasses. Grande chambre confortable, silencieuse et propre.
Petit déjeuner très copieux et convivial et Luciano est un hôtel francophone delicieux.
Bien avoir en tête qu'une voiture est indispensable, contrepartie de la vue qui nécessite d'être loin du centre-ville.

Excellent accueil de Luciano qui parle français. Bon petit déjeuner partagé avec les autres résidents belges ,canadiens,brésilien avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le Duomo.Ne pas hésitez à aller au bout de sa rue car il est situé au fond ,une pancarte d indication sur la grande rue serait la bienvenue. La chambre est grande et la salle de bains également ce qui est appréciable. Luciano respire la gentillesse et l amabilité.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hilltop villa for one night so that we could easily visit the nearby Villa Romana del Casale. Unfortunately, the weather had turned cold and rainy so we could not truly enjoy the beauty of the setting. However, we loved the villa, with its incredibly high ceilings and antique furnishings. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast generous, but most of all, we appreciated the warmth and kindness of our host, Luciano. We were especially tickled to learn that he, like us, is a runner--in fact, we learned that all three of us had run the Rome marathon in the same year! Highly recommended.
