蠻不錯的家庭式酒店，一百多年的歷史，古老與現代的結合。早餐食物分量大，味道好。唯一房間走起來會有響聲。

My husband and I ate in the restaurant and WOW! This is a must go to for dinner if you are in the Picton area. We shared the beef tartare which was beyond delicious! My husband had the lamb and I had the sirloin. Everything was cooked to perfection! The profiteroles were also beyond delicious. You must try them! We sat in the wine cellar which was a beautiful setting and the servers were exceptional. All around a five star experience.

This was our second stay at the Merrill House and it was absolutely amazing. The hospitality is so genuine and the staff truly cares about the quality of your stay. Shout out to Sean for being so kind and helpful! Merrill House is stunning with unique decor and details, everything perfectly placed. The rooms are beautiful with the comfiest beds and cleanest bathrooms. We enjoyed breakfast in the conservatory all three mornings of our stay and it was delicious each day. Steps away from downtown Picton, Merrill House is perfectly located. Thank you everyone @ Merrill. We will be back again!

The staff at Merrill House were outstanding, especially Sean the concierge, definitely 5 star. The food was very good. The only thing that could have made it perfect was having grab bars in the bathroom . Also my wife eats a light breakfast so having an a la carte menu as it is with dinner would have been good.

My wife and I booked this hotel 3 months in advance. After a change in travel plans, we requested a refund more than 2 months in advance. Management refused to honor a refund despite the significant advance notice. They were also very rude and unprofessional. I strongly advise you to stay elsewhere.

Memorable family reunion! the service was impeccable! it was a family reunion to celebrate my daughters wedding! we felt welcomed and at home. The breakfast was fantastic, a real gourmet experience! the rooms are unique and fun. there are all kind of bedrooms to accommodate grandmas, babys, children, teens, and the newly weds got their jacuzzi! just perfect!!!!

The interior decor was superlative. A combination of eclectic Victorians, modern extravagance all in the best of taste. The quality of the details- soft towels, warm and cool bathrobes, great bed linens and an amazing selection of bedside reading made us want to stay for a month. The breakfast was copious and delicious. A real delightful experience.

Merrill House was superb from start to finish. I called ahead to ask if they could store two of my coolers in their freezer(a truly over the top request) and it was accommodated without hesitation. They even printed my Sandbanks parking pass for me. The house itself is gorgeous and unique. Our Dreaming suite was beautifully appointed, and the bathroom had lovely amenities. They even scented our pillows at night after giving us a choice of a variety of scents. The parking was fantastic and the property was large—it felt like we were in a park. Best of all, we were within walking distance of downtown Picton. We were minutes away from bistros and top notch restaurants. I highly recommend The Royal for dinner and Vic Social for breakfast. All in all, if you want the perfect place to stay while enjoying the County, Merrill House is it.
