A hidden gem with your own kitchenette and large shower wet room. I will certainly use the Raptor Foundation accommodation again. I really ought to keep it quiet otherwise it will become so popular I’ll not get booked in again!

We spent two nights at Falcons Nest. Lovely location. Room very spacious, clean and furniture a little tired. Settee not easy to get out of, but comfortable enough while sitting. Bed is a basic double, and mattress is rather firm. The bathroom facilities good, found the shower floor a little slippy. The kitchen is fitted with microwave and fridge freezer, No hob. Utensils and crockery for eating and cooking very basic and minimal, certainly not sufficient for anyone who needs to eat in house. We only needed breakfast, as we’re meeting up with other family. I’m glad I brought cereals, milk, bread, butter as there isn’t a shop for groceries on site. Reception is very poor, closed up by 5pm, we were two families, and split away from one another, which was ok, but finding the properties is confusing, a map of the place would help, when sending email with instruction for keys, that shows layout of apartments and their numbers. Also can’t take cars to door of appartment to unload have to leave cars in car park used by people that are also visiting the Raptor foundation Centre. Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

It was one large room, with a double bed and the bed settee, a dining area and a kitchenette. Bring a cork screw and tin opener if you want one, as I didn’t see one in the drawers, but there were plenty of cutlery, glasses and plates etc. absolutely brilliant value for money and was a fabulous place. However, the bed settee was very uncomfortable, but we used the cushions and had an extra du et with us, which made it fine. It didn’t stop us sleeping. The king sized bed was apparently really comfortable. I would definitely stay there again but would probably bring an extra later for the bed settee.

We stayed in a Deluxe room and could not believe the size and space. Lots of utilities and a very homely atmosphere inside. Heating and cooking facilities were excellent, and nice sizeable bathroom. Parking is around the front of the estalishment and is safe, secure, and accessible to the accomodation.
The park itself is great, and is doing a fantastic job looking after the birds of prey and reptiles. A great Centre doing a lot of good work to look afer birds and other animals, well worth a visit and to support when staying over.

Lovely peaceful location, birds were amazing and well kept. Loved the meerkats and tortoises too. Knowledgeable and passionate staff. Room was very clean with everything you need. Great budget option, would definitely recommend

Clean, quiet location, comfortable. We rented the 2 bedroom apartment. The quietness at night was especially important to us because we live in the country and do not like staying in hotels in towns and cities. Prices are good. Kitchenette has enough to make your breakfast every day and a basic meal with kettle, toaster and microwave. Separate living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen size and the other 2 twin/single beds). Spacious bathroom. Would definitely come back here if we need accommodation in the area. Added bonus was being able to walk around the raptor sanctuary is included in the price of the stay. I especially loved when we came back late at night, standing in the car park and being able to hear all the owls hooting in the dark.
