City Express by Marriott Piedras Negras

This property is in an easily accessible location. Since it was recently acquired by Marriott, I imagined that the property could have been updated or improved. For example, in Marriott hotels, when you arrive, the air conditioning is usually on at a comfortable temperature. When we got to the room, the AC was off and the room was hot. The air conditioning was very noisy, I had a hard time sleeping, the next day I reported it early, when I returned in the afternoon it was still the same, I asked them to change my room, which they did and they gave me another room on the same floor and the air Conditioning worked well. Note that the access pen is open all the time, I understand that the city is quiet, but a little extra security is not a bad thing. Breakfast is included and is good, little variety but substantial. The staff is nice. I didn't like that they ask for your identification and want to keep a copy of it, for the security of personal data this should not happen. In general, hotel prices in this city have risen considerably, but not all have raised the level of comfort and service. I consider this to be a good hotel, and it used to be cheap, but its comfort level still has a chance to improve. Thank you
