We stayed at this location during Spring Break and it did not disappoint! I admit I was a bit leery after reading the latest reviews but we were pleased with our stay. We were on the second floor and the room appeared to have been refreshed in terms of furnishings. Everything was clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We were traveling with 2 young children and the seating area had a very large pullout trundle couch which was great for lounging. The hot breakfast was greatly appreciated but it was pretty crowded on both days during our stay. We were able to grab our food and enjoy it in the comfort of our room. There's a small fridge and microwave in each room plus a very large size walk-in closet. For anyone who needs EV charging, there is one single charger by Blink. The rate was obscenely high - even higher than a Tesla supercharger. We had selected this hotel because of the EV charger but unfortunately, this feature did not work out for us. There are Tesla superchargers in the parking lot of the Island. Luckily, we found that we could easily walk to places in order to minimize our need to charge our EV. There is a fun mini-golf spot (pirates and mermaids) about a 10-min walk, Publix supermarket was another 15-min walk and the Island was about 20-min walk. We noticed there was a lot of traffic on the Parkway and walking seemed like a must faster option, especially during peak times like around dinner time. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.
