Walked in and walked right back out!!! This is the absolute worse hotel I have ever been to!! Found LIZARDS in the room!!! There’s someone living in one of the rooms, property is horrible and needs to be shut down!! The staff wasn’t even surprised by what we found in the room or the shape of the room!!!

There was a breakfast and the attendant tried hard to keep food available and prevent some inconsiderate patrons from filling up their huge water bottles with orange juice. The room was not in good shape: the large window shook and rattled every time the door shut or the neighbors' doors shut...thought it would fall out. The beds and pillows were more suited for a shelter at a scout camp...no sleep. The toilet was chipped; the tub had no screen; vanity light was intermittent, and there was NO phone. The fridge kept things cold, but also kept you awake unless you unplugged it, which we did. Good things: the tv worked, the water was hot, and if you're into smoking pot...it was plentiful. The aroma permeated everything; we were too tired to flee. Should have taken the other reviews seriously; wasn't worth saving a buck to put my family up here.

Let me start by saying, i live minutes from Detroit and it takes a lot to make me uncomfortable. I booked a room for myself and my 4 year old son last minute thinking, based on the pictures, that this was a decent hotel for the price. ABSOLUTELY NOT. To start, this motel makes the back alley that it sits on look like the hood. I was sketched out as soon as i pulled up but i decided to give it a shot because i had just driven 10 hours with a toddler, by myself, and was exhausted. I hadn’t even walked in the front door and strange men were already bothering me asking if i needed help, and wouldn’t stop after i said no very firmly. The front desk clerk was clearly not friendly before he even opened his mouth. I finally check in and go to my room and i was horrified. Mold and water pockets in the walls, stains all over the ceiling, baseboards, walls, and fixtures, broken light in the bathroom to hide the disgusting shower, toilet, walls and floor, dead/live bugs everywhere. I. Was. Disgusted. There was a room two doors down from mine with red lights in the window and i couldn’t help but get the vibe that Roxanne was residing next to me and my son. I didn’t unpack a single thing, or sit on any of the furniture. I immediately called the front desk telling the same unbothered man that i felt unsafe and that i needed to leave due to the state of the room, and the motel itself. He told me that he couldn’t help me and i had to call *********** to cancel. I then asked him how he could explain the state of the room that he assigned me, as he could most definitely do something about that, to which he told me to “bring the keys before i go if i don’t like it” and gave me the nastiest attitude and tone. I called the booking service and cancelled immediately and went to sevierville to a much nicer, and safer motel for only $100 more. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY. Don’t book here. As i was walking out i heard a woman screaming at someone outside of their room. That sealed the deal for me.

Bath room was disgusting. Toilet seat had stuff all over it, paint and glue and such. Tub was brown where you stood. Caulking was so dirty. Disgusting bathroom to have to use. One light fixture had no bulb in it and the bed lamp only had one where it should have two so the main room was dark. The cheapest TV you could buy and it's speaker sounded like a cell phone speaker. The internet would not work. No breakfast at all of any type even though it listed they had. The fan vent was full of dirt. The beds were ok. The bath door was dirty. The office area and pool did not look bad but the room was so bad.

Unclean room, broken bed (shaped like a rocking chair rocker), broken fridge $140 per night weekend - Never again! Options were limited and NOW I understand why this was still available. When reporting the broken fridge, the front desk person clearly thought I was a bother and hardly looked up from their phone - when I suggested a fix, they were rude with their response.
