I just booked our 3rd stay here because it’s fricken ADORABLE! The Chalets are all owned by different people so they are not all equal. Research carefully if you’re super picky about the newness of the decorating. What is consistent is things to keep you coming back. They have a pool, a playground and an activity center for older kids. It’s close to Callaway Gardens and other historic areas. Take a minute to go downtown there are several really cute stores browse through. I highly recommend Pine Mountain Club Chalets!

Property is really nice and has plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. The beds also slept surprisingly well. However, on the last night of our stay the bathroom ceiling started leaking and it sounded like someone was taking a shower all night.

If I could give this place a zero star review I would. I just got married here and the rehearsal and day off were a complete disaster. The coordinator had no clue how to direct anything.Don’t marry here

I'll get right to the point. We had reserved 2 nights. The first chalet was filthy & looked like a home from the 1960's. Bugs everywhere & my daughter laid down in her bed & complained of the pillow smelling. It smelled like pure feces. I threw it on the floor & took it to the front desk the next day. (Their office closes around 5:00pm & your out of luck if you need anything at night. We had reservations for an event the next morning, & the office was still closed @8:00am.) We came back after lunch & complained. The only option was we could leave or we could try two more chalets they had available. We had made plans for the weekend to be in the area & with limited places to stay, we had no choice but to try another chalet. The other two were both very outdated & dirty. We picked the cleanest of the two & made do. I'm in my forties. I've taken many vacations & have stayed @ many different places, but this was by far the WORST. The front desk can't give any discounts. The only way to communicate is through email. We complained & were told we would get a cleaning fee returned, which Did Not Happen. No compensation was given. No "I'm sorry". Our reviews have been removed multiple times. Don't stay at this "resort". You'll regret it!!

the wedding planner is the worst communicator EVER! She always has an excuse as why something was not do or how it was done. Hard to get a hold of. She made the whole experience a living hell. If it was for a family member that day would have been a disaster. Planning the wedding with her nigh**are. Day of wedding she was a nigh**are. I have so many regrets going with them the all inclusive was not worth it! You think it would save you a headache! From my first meeting I should have trusted my gut . It says do not go with this venue! Didn’t listen because I wanted to say money! AGAIN NOT WORTH IT. Day of wedding she also forgot to give my bridemaids their flowers for pictures and then we could not find her to get said flowers . She was always disappearing. She also never gave the DJ my revised new couple walk in song and that really haunts me as well. I should have read the google reviews before booking. They outlined the same experience I went through and I didn’t read it . The view is nice, but not worth it. This is suppose to be the best day of your life. And I still have nigh**ares. Photographer was good tho and KIMBLEs catering was amazing! ( only because we had to communicate with the directly because the wedding planner dropped the ball major with them. Glad they would talk to me directly. I called the flower vendor and they were rude and had attitude with me because I called to ask why there were so many add ons we did not talk about. They said, our contract is with the venue not you . It’s my money! I will not pay for things I didn’t request! Very disheartening)

The chalet 75 was extremely outdated! They had controversial pictures hanging (slaves on a plantation & mamie dolls). I think that’s very distasteful because people of all races visit, PAY and stay at the resort. The shower curtain was dirty at the bottom & the toilet wouldn’t flush in the main bathroom. No one came to fix it! We stayed from Saturday to Monday and had to pour water inside of the toilet to flush it. The freezer did not freeze the items in the freezer & the ice maker didn’t work. We had to buy ice. I’ve stayed at Pine Mountain before and never experienced this. The other cabins were pretty nice but Chalet #75 was OFFENSIVE & THE WORST!!! Do not stay here!!

Last December 5-7, my husband and I and our two fur babies, spent three lovely nights at the Pine Mountain Chalets and Resort. Each year for probably the last twenty years, we have attended the spectacular light show at Callaway Gardens. It always sets the mood for Chris**as and has become an important part of our holiday tradition. Since Callaway closed the Mountain Creek Inn, which was pet friendly, we’ve either had to leave our dogs with a sitter or find other lodging, which ended up being inconvenient. While searching for pet friendly accommodations for the 2022 Fantasy In Lights, I came across Pine Mountain Chalets and Resort and began to read about them. Low and behold, we’d driven by the chalets for years while exploring the area and eating at Crickets! We’d always assumed the cute chalet themed homes were part of a residential community. The more I checked into the chalets, I discovered that they were actually a gem of a destination and a quiet, relaxing wooded spot to get away for several nights, with the added benefit of bringing our two senior dogs. We both said that we wished we had known about Pine Mountain Chalets and Resort years ago, because the resort is the perfect place to bring kids. There are so many things for the entire family - a pool, horse shoes, small miniature golf area, a playground, tennis courts, miles of trails, and a peaceful lake. There’s a clubhouse too, but we didn’t go inside. There’s the added bonus that the location is minutes away from Callaway Gardens. While there in early December, the weather was lovely and I was able to walk the dogs several times a day around the serene lake. We stayed in Chalet #25 and absolutely loved it. It was quite rustic, like being at grandma’s house and unbelievably roomy, with a large screened in porch. They have a nice website with pictures and details about each privately owned unit. Personally, I found the office staff to be a wealth of information and very helpful in selecting a unit to meet our needs. Should you want to do a bit of work during your stay, bring your laptop, because the WiFi is fantastic!!! We will definitely be staying at the Pine Mountain Chalets and Resort for our 2023 Fantasy In Lights visit! Diane and Bill Baker Savannah, GA

Very spacious. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Very quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. Our chalet (number 99) had the most amazing screened in back porch with a view of the woods. Wonderful place to walk or bike. Conveniently located close to Callaway Gardens.
