Sunset Mu Style Inn

Great environment, lovely atmosphere, and excellent service! The sea view is unbeatable, it's clean and tidy, and there are no mosquitoes! The bed is especially comfortable, so I slept really well! If I go to Xiaoliuqiu again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.

Big bed and spacious room. The double shower is a nice touch. However, the bathroom tends to flood and the water drains slowly. Also, the air conditioning isn't very strong.

The staff's attitude was terrible; I was treated rudely when I asked a question at the front desk.

I don't know who misled me, but when I booked, I indicated I was alone, and the pictures showed a single bed with a window and a larger room. It cost nearly 400 Hong Kong Dollars (see attached photos). Yesterday, when I arrived to check in, I was shocked to be told, as an elderly person, to climb into a top bunk bed. The room was tiny, truly frustrating, and completely different from the photos shown during booking. I hope Trip.com can investigate this thoroughly. Thank you.

The staff were really nice, and the hotel was quite clean. However, the room had poor sound insulation, and we had an internal window (meaning if we didn't close the curtain, everyone in the hallway could see into our room, which wasn't convenient). It's also far from the port, so without a motorbike/scooter, it's difficult to get around. I recommend renting one. If you don't want to, don't choose this hotel, or you risk walking in the heat. There's a bus about once an hour, and the driver is very friendly. He even dropped us off right in front of our hotel when we arrived. It's close to Beauty Beach and Venice Beach, which are both beautiful.
