We stayed at Amanda for 2 nights with one of our friend couple. First night, we stayed at the ”Rose City 2 Bedroom Suite” which was exactly like its description - 2 bedroom and one bathroom with two doors which was great. We really enjoyed the first night. The location is great - very close to the night market and all our outdoor activities. Second night, we reserved the ”Ancient Jade Villa” with a private swimming pool. We have traveled enough to know that sometimes pictures posted are outdated so we called the hotel in advance to make sure that it met our needs BEFORE booking. We needed two bedrooms and wanted to book the villa with the private giant swimming pool as it was portrayed on trip.com. We were told that it has two bedrooms - which unfortunately was not true. The swimming pool was not like the one posted on trip.com (they have updated the pictures now) When we told the staff that this was not the room we booked, they said that it was ”renovated” and that the pool was exactly like the picture. The picture of the pool was an almost full size pool that was rectangle and the room we received was a triangular jacuzzi sized pool in the corner (?????) *** I think the most unfortunate part of this incident was that the staffs were treating us as if we are stupid and kept insisting that the room we received was exactly the room on the picture.. (The two pool pictures are below) Thankfully, I'm guessing it is the manager but he handled the situation quite professionally and was able to accomodate us into two separate hotel rooms quite quickly. A frustrating situation was resolved very quickly with care and we really appreciated it. One other thing I'd like to mention is the breakfast restaurant staff's behaviours. - Some of the food were out so we asked if it would be refilled, one of the waitress replied to us that it will be. After 20 minutes of waiting later, we asked another waiter and he said it will NOT be refilled. But about 3 minutes later, it was refilled??? - We asked for some ice, and the waitress said ”Actually, you cannot actually ask for ice” ????? Some other minor issues were: - unstable electricity in the rooms (the electricity plugs kept turning off for some reason) - the lighting in the rooms were way too dark considering that the rooms didn't get too much natural light (to the point where putting on makeup was almost impossible) - the air condition system was unstable (it was either too cold or too hot) - the door handles were either broken or the screws were coming off and there were too many light switches that did not work or were confusing(?)

After lunch in Kenting on the first day, there is no other itinerary. I want to go to the hotel early to wait for check-in, and take a walk around the surroundings. After arriving, the guard confirmed our check-in information and guided us to park. There were service staff waiting at the door to receive us. After we checked in at the lobby, we thought we would have to wait a little longer (check-in time is four o'clock, and we arrived after two o'clock) Unexpectedly, the service staff came to explain that free items can be used in the room and that breakfast can be seated after reporting the room number. Then they said that the room card has been inserted for us to turn on the lights and air conditioning in the room (I felt very considerate at the moment) I was lucky enough to check in early and go swimming in the swimming pool. There are lifeguards and there are bath towels available by the pool (which can be taken back to the room) When I first booked the room, I was looking forward to the swimming pool being large and deep enough for serious swimming, and the usage time is sufficient (7:00-18:00, cleaning 12:00-13:00 in between) Too early or too late will make it too windy and cold, making it unsuitable for swimming. It’s really relaxing to watch the blue sky, white clouds and sunset while swimming, as well as the beautiful Dajianshan Mountain. The only thing is that the outdoor swimming pool has a lot of leaves, and I’m afraid of birds pooping down when I’m lying on my back🤣🤣 The room also has a bathtub. If you don't want to swim, you can take a bath. The room is not very new, but it can be seen that it is cleaned with care. The room is quiet and not noisy. The bed and pillows are a bit soft (it would be even better if there is a pillow service) Breakfast is served a la carte. After you sit down, you will be served the juice of the day and then choose the meal you want. There is also pre-meal bread available. The meals are all delicious. Even if it is not a buffet, you can still feel full! It is recommended to stay in Kenting where accommodation is very expensive. Friends who want to relax and have a little more budget can choose to stay here. This time I booked a room on trip.com. Next time I want to book a room directly on the official website for the one-night-and-two-food plan. I think it’s a good deal.

This hotel has both good and bad features. The picture shows the room I was given an extra fee to upgrade for the first two nights. The environment and sea view are 100 points. The hotel staff are very good, with thoughtful introductions and first-class and considerate service. The worst thing is that you can't cancel the order. I booked the wrong exquisite double room. I can't refund and can only upgrade. Don’t book a hotel without a sea view. The balcony of the exquisite double room looks at other people's balconies, and you can't open the window at all. The opposite side looks at other people's balconies, others look at the sea, and you look at others and the wall. There is no need to open the curtains. I booked for three nights, and I was given extra money to upgrade for two nights. On the third day, I couldn't accept it at all, and they also had to pay 1,300 yuan for the worst room. On the third day, I checked out immediately one hour after changing rooms. Although the sea view room is beautiful, it is a pity that the stairs upstairs smell sour and musty. It is probably because the guest returned to the room after going to the beach and made his carpet smell very smelly. It was that smell of clothes not drying on his carpet. It is recommended that the hotel deal with the smell of carpets and stairs. There are two or three coffee shops near the hotel. For main food, you have to go to the night market or go back to Hengchun. You must be careful when choosing a room type next time. The hotel does not offer refunds or cancellations.

The first time I met the hotel service staff, everyone was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to say hello. Help help. As soon as they saw us at the door with our children and a lot of luggage, we immediately came over to help. 100 points to all hotel staff, from the entrance, check in, to the swimming pool lifeguards, B1 game area, restaurant, cleaning staff, thank you very much! Although the equipment is not new, the children had a lot of fun in the swimming pool. If the game area was richer, it might attract more parent-child tourists.

Resort is quite far away from Kenting, which is the place to be in south Taipei. We had a car, so it was not a issue. Big breakfast for 300 ntd, ok dinner at the resort restaurant, fairly priced. You can choose between a la cart or hot pot . We arrived Sunday night and it seemed not many ppl were at the resort. A lot of activities are closed due winter season. When we arrived, they told us that car can not be parked at the cabin. They had small busses driving 24-7 between car park, cabins etc. Unluckily it was raining the whole week of our stay and usually the busses had open sides, so oftentimes we got wet. You can order the bus by calling to the front desk. It would take appx. 5 min the bus to arrive but no idea how busy it will be when it is high season We checked in and then realized that our cabin and our kid's cabin were very far away from each other. We asked if they could change, they couldn't do that. Later that night another family moved into another flat in our cabin and then we discovered that walls are paper thin. It felt like 15 ppl moved in - kids, parents, grandparents. Rest of the family had a cabin next to our house but apparently they just liked to spend time in our cabin. As the rest of the family went back to their cabin to sleep, we also went to bed just to find out that our neighbour's baby was a light sleeper. Sometimes the baby fell off the bed, sometimes he just cried but unfortunately no sleep for us either. Next day I asked if we could get another cabin because a week of that would really ruin our holiday as we were there for diving as well. We got another cabin, slightly more worn out as the first one but quiet and we were happy. They changed towels every day although the sign said if we put them in the shower area, they will change them. Toiletries: toothbrushes, shower cap, shower liquid and shampoo, razor, soap, comb new every day We were out most of the time anyway. Went to the beaches in Kenting, go karting, diving and dining in Hengchung, movies in Pingtung (very long drive) etc. Staff was friendly and helpful, only one driver got annoyed because my Chinese wasn't good enough and he didn't understand that we wanted to got to the parking lot. Usually they always found somebody who could speak English. I can speak a little Chinese but not enough to have a complicated discussion. When we left, more ppl were arriving, we counted 5 busses/the parking lot was half full so the resort must be quite popular despite the locatio

The information on Ctrip is a bit strange. All the room rates and room types in this hotel include all meals (all meals include, breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea, late night and endless drinks.) I don't know why there are written on the page. Breakfast included, there is no writing... The location of the hotel is in the middle of Kenting and Taitung. If you want to play the Kenting route, it is a bit far away, and the coastline is not suitable for launching. However, if it is for the holiday, leisure, close to nature, Taitung or Hualien, the transition station is extremely Good choice. This hotel is listed in the top ten B&Bs in Taiwan. Meals and services are a big selling point.

It's very close to the beach and the night market. The hotel staff are very friendly. The room is clean and simple, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. I will stay at this hotel next time I come back.
