Hanting Hotels in Pingyang

Hanting is the economy brand H World launched in 2005, and its pitch is unfussy: a clean, reliable room at a price that does not sting, self-service that skips the queue at the desk, and a breakfast that changes from city to city. The lobby stays open around the clock, and the brand describes itself as the distant relative and close neighbour of 1.4 billion Chinese travellers.

• Self-service that skips the queue - Self check-in terminals and robot-assisted delivery keep the front desk quick at busy hours.
• A breakfast per city - The morning menu is set locally rather than rolled out identically nationwide.
• A lobby that never closes - The public area stays open 24 hours, so late arrivals are not stuck in the corridor.
