Located within Pingyao Ancient City, it's super convenient for exploring – you can just step out and start wandering. They offer pick-up and drop-off service from the station, which is very helpful, and the owner is really nice. I was very satisfied with my stay.

We had a lovely stay here in Pingyao. The hotel was utmost welcoming and kind, starting with preliminary information, a free pick-up up from the train station, a suggested sightseeing tour route with the most relevant sights in the ancient city, and a restaurant recommendation. Beyond that, they served free light breakfast and helped us in every aspect we asked for. Highly recommend to stay in this property in this ancient location.

This hotel has an antique charm, really capturing the essence of Jin merchants. The surrounding courtyard is very quiet. The coffee at the bar is worth a special mention – I really loved the taste, though that's just my personal preference. All in all, it was a great travel experience, and I've already recommended it to my colleagues.

Is a very nice stay at here, and their service is superb! Got a free upgraded room also free breakfast for us, that’s lovely, and they’re really take good care of us, explaining well about the town. Will definitely come back if I’m visiting here again 🥰

Hands down our favorite hotel experience in all of China - beautiful property and fantastic customer service.
The hotel is beautiful with two picturesque traditional courtyards, while the rooms are modern, well equipped and sparkling clean. The hotel is in a great location and only a very short walk away from all the main attractions. Because the hotel doesn't directly face a big street, it's also very quiet all day and night which is a big plus!
Our favorite was the incredible customer service, once again the best we've experienced in China. The staff was extremely helpful in picking us up and dropping us off at the train station. Throughout our stay, everyone was extremely kind, patient, and helpful in providing us with information and making our stay ever more comfortable. Also super responsive to our Wechat messages.
An added bonus is that the hotel provided us with a free upgrade to a bigger room type, as well as a free breakfast. We ended up staying one night longer than planned because we liked this hotel and Pingyao so much! We will come back here on our next visit to Pingyao.
