The hotel offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off at the train station. After we checked in, they kindly explained the best routes for exploring the ancient city and even gave us discount vouchers for popular local restaurants! The main street is just 100 meters to the right from the entrance. It's a hotel-style guesthouse right inside the ancient city! The decor is quite new, so it's very clean. It's a two-story courtyard house, designed like a traditional Shanxi residence!

Without a doubt, the best part is the staff—they are wonderful, incredibly attentive, and always ready to help you with a smile. They truly make you feel at home.
The breakfast: Delicious, hearty, and the perfect start to the day.
The farewell: When checking out, they surprise you with an amazing, heartwarming gesture that we absolutely loved!
They are hands down the best in town. If I ever return to Pingyao, I won't even bother looking anywhere else—I will definitely stay here again!

The location is excellent, very close to major attractions and food streets. Since cars can't drive into the ancient city, the host contacted us in advance, told us where to park, and came to pick us up. The building has an antique charm, while the rooms are modernly decorated and well soundproofed. The service was thoughtful and meticulous; they gave us detailed information about the ancient city's sights and recommended routes, and even helped us find a great tour guide. We received a fresh fruit platter and a souvenir. Overall, it's fantastic value for money.

A young man was already waiting in the parking lot to pick us up, and another helped with our luggage when we arrived at the hotel entrance. Well located with easy access to the main shopping and restaurant street. Highly recommended for an authentic old town Pingyao stay.
