Anemoni Piraeus Hotel Reviews

We found this hotel when looking for a place to stay for a few days before going on our cruise. We could not decide whether to stay in Athens and then come down to Piraeus for the cruise or stay in Piraeus and take the subway into Athens. We made the right decision and stayed in Piraeus at this quant hotel in a great location. 3 minute walk to subway and a busy square with restaurants and cafes. Took the subway to Athens to see the sites but really appreciated leaving the city for the peaceful area. Hotel was clean and the room had just what was needed. Wifi and A/C were included.

Great location and very accommodating staff. Parking can be a challenge; they do offer a parking garage for pay down the street. Rooms a bit small as is the bathroom, nice balcony. 24 hr desk and great breakfast option for pay. The staff the the cleanliness was the best.

Quite OK hotel located in Pireaus of Athen, that we involuntary had to book/stay at, since our flight AND luggage was so delayed that we missed the last/latest boat/ferry to Aegina from Pireaus. Breakfast not included (7€ p.p) but with elevator (thank you). Beds not the coziest and the bedding (sheets) a little worn out, but all was clean and proper in the room. Not the cheapest but definitely worth its price. We'd probably stay here again should the need arise. Recommendable.

Came to watch Manchester City play in The Super Cup Final. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all fantastic without exception. They even put the air conditioning on when housekeeping tidyed the room which made it lovely and cool when we got back Hotel is a 10 min walk from D Theatro Metro Station.

Terrible! On the phone they told us there have a parking when we arrive they said they do not have space for our car and even if they had our car an Audi A4 avant with roof box was to tall to fit in! Receptionist manners were rude and always saying what do you want me to do taking the responsibilities off him! He could only give and take the room key nothing else! Worst part was the baby bed which it was with out mattress! It was only with the base! Even in prisons they have at least a foam to sleep on!

Its location is wise because it is ideally located. Indeed it is close to the metro and the port. The welcome is friendly and French-speaking. The room we had was OK and quiet. The bedding, the toiletries, in short everything was good but the price is high for this category of hotel

Very comfortable hotel ideal for ferries. Nearby there are taverns and restaurants; a short distance to the subway to reach the center I stayed in this hotel 3 times. Very efficient staff, very helpful and ready to help with any problem.

It is a good hotel to stay for a day if you are going to take the cruise to the islands. To stay is good, unfortunately breakfast was not very complete and was not included in the offer. Near the hotel there is a supermarket and places to order food. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but I'm not complaining, it was good.

This hotel is located 15 minutes walk from Gate E8 and 20 minutes from Gate E7 of Piraeus Port. By walking slowly. The welcome is very attentive. On simple request by email, you will receive your printed tickets upon arrival at reception and free of charge: anemoni@otenet.gr The hotel is quiet in a small street. It took us 37 minutes by taxi from the airport to reach it at night. The room is comfortable with a safe, a large flat screen television, a bathtub, a desk and a balcony. Two cushions per person. And shower products with plenty of towels. There is a power ***** to plug in your devices

During the coronavirus period, they keep all the money of the reservation if you cancel. They make sure to be kind of vague about it. They even had a timer for a cancellation deadline, which apparently is not the case.

the rooms are very clean and welcoming, the receptions are polite and give information that a traveler needs. safe area and it is worth it because it is close to Piraeus and it is the safest area

Hotel without infamy and without praise, located in Piraeus near the port, used as a base before going on a cruise. Good cleaning, beautiful hall, the only flaw the receptionists to improve ... more smiles and less hanging faces ... the tourist is sacred and should always be welcomed with a smile

We used the hotel to spend the night (we arrived in Athens at dawn), and to be close to the port so we could catch the ferry early in the morning. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to us, giving us directions on how to get to the port. The rooms are not very spacious, but they are in good condition.

Albergo vicino a negozi, con camere piccole e bagno molto piccolo, un po' datato. La pulizia è sufficiente. L'aria condizionata funziona perfettamente. Diciamo che va bene per soggiornarci una notte o due, per visitare Atene e poi spostarsi. la fermata dell'autobus per chi arriva dall'aeroporto è molto vicina, l'autobus è x96 che troverete subito fuori l'uscita degli arrivi in aeroporto con la biglietteria di fronte. Si paga 5,50 euro a testa. La fermata vicina all'albergo è la Timotico chiedete all'autista comunque c'è il dispaly sul pullman che indica le varie fermate. Il bus è moderno è pulito e ci mette un ora ad arrivare. Si può arrivare anche con la metro, però facendo un cambio a piazza monastiraki. L'albergo è comodo anche per arrivare in centro sia con l'autobus che con la metro. Invece non l'ho trovato altrettanto comodo per imbarcarsi, in quanto dipende da quale gate userà la vostra nave. Noi per andare a Naxos avevamo il gate 7 che è un pò distante dall'albergo quindi comunque abbiamo dovuto chiamare un taxi che ci è costato 8 euro, perché con le valigie era un pò troppo distante. L'albergo è dotato di cassaforte solo alla reception, custodita dal portinaio che ti darà la tua chiave. La colazione è a buffet ma essenziale, come salato mi pare solo uova sode, non ci sono brioche ma solo fette biscottate con marmellata. Ci sono degli yogurt. Siamo arrivati verso l'una di notte e un pò affamati, il portiere (devo dire tutti i portieri) molto gentile, si è offerto di farci portare un kebab direttamente in albergo, il cui costo di 3 euro a testa. Abbiamo apprezzato il gesto, ma il kebab l'abbiamo buttato perché era immangiabile, non so dirvi la provenienza. Nel frigobar in camera vi fanno sempre trovare delle bottigliette d'acqua in omaggio. Ci tornerei cmq perché il rapporto qualità prezzo vale la pena, i materassi erano molto comodi come i cuscini
