What a lovely stay I had here! Checked in December 12th and intended to stay until the 23rd but I kept extending my stay (ultimately staying a full month here before heading back to the US). Roxana. She made the place a home for me from day 1. Made sure she picked the right room for me (I preferred no stairs and first floor). She brought muna tea to my room after I returned from an ayahuasca ceremony. The building itself is a quaint old colonial house. Daily room cleaning is available, which included bringing bottled water to brush my teeth, which I appreciated. I stayed December -January and used the in room electric heater once. The bedding is cozy and warm. Hot water was always readily available for showering. Breakfast was served in the dining area 7:30-9:30am. The initial offering for hotel guests was Scrambled Eggs, Fruit Parfait, or Oatmeal with coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice and bread basket. With extended stay I was ordering omelettes and pancakes as well Located right on the Plaza, I loved walking out the door and being within walking distance to all of my favorite places. The mountain view is stunning, Artisan Market and Pisac Ruins are nearby. I not only went and experienced their spa (which included a 1 hour herbal bath and then a 1hour massage), but I bought two spa packages for my son and his girlfriend to enjoy (theirs also included a 1hour sauna). Thank you Roxana for welcoming me each morning with a smile (often a hug) and a warm welcome by name. It’s small gestures like this that keep guests coming back.
