Hotel Capovilla

This is a clean, comfortable hotel. Two things really mark it out though. Firstly, excellent customer service. All the staff have such a kind and helpful attitude. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone seems genuinely glad to answer questions, research train timetables or do whatever is needed. Secondly the hotel restaurant, where we had one wonderful evening meal. If it had been only up to me, it would’ve been more! Great food, great service and an attractive outside terrace to enjoy it all. The hotel is a few steps from Lake Iseo, as well as the tiny town where there are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants. The station is a ten minute walk, giving you options to visit other towns around the lake. Although the railway line and the road both run in front of the hotel, there’s only one slow train an hour and very few cars come through. Our room was beautifully quiet. One word of caution, if you plan to stay in Pisogne, it does not have a taxi company so unless you’re traveling by car and depending on your plans, transport will need to be carefully thought out.

Nice hotel & location, but be aware of some road noise from the street. The hotel parking lot is small, so expect to park somewhere else.
