Great location, no issues.

The overall experience was great. The area is very quiet and conveniently located for both dining and sightseeing. It's incredibly close to both the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, just a few minutes' walk away. The breakfast is standard American fare, which might be a slight drawback for Chinese visitors. However, all in all, it was fine, and I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit!

Excellent service and a superb location, within easy walking distance of CMU. The rooms are quite spacious, featuring a microwave and fridge.

I stayed there for a few days. Housekeeping mid-stay wasn't very thorough. On the positive side, the hotel management was decent enough. The air conditioning unit in the room was a bit noisy. Our room was quite spacious, the furnishings were rather classic, and it was clean and tidy.

We booked this hotel for a campus visit to CMU with our kids. I had originally booked two rooms, but the front desk informed me that only one was available. Fortunately, the room featured two 1.51-meter (roughly queen-sized) beds, which was perfectly sufficient for our family of four. After discussing it with Ctrip, they issued a full refund for the other room. Big thanks to Ctrip for their excellent service!

The hygiene is OK. Parking is in the open space at the back. It costs $35 per day, which is a bit expensive. It is convenient for transportation and there are many Chinese restaurants around.

The air conditioner is noisy. The air conditioner is used for heating. It roars intermittently and blows very dryly. The Pittsburgh Hilton, the Boston Westin, and the Chicago Avenida Hilton are all like this. The three hotels are equivalent to chain hotels in mainland China. The Westin is slightly better, about 3,000. The two Hiltons are about 1,500. Disposable items such as slippers and toothbrushes are not provided by most American hotels. Breakfast in these three hotels is à la carte, about 12-20 US dollars per portion, a large plate. After more than half a month, I concluded that the American meal is really too big for one person. If a girl doesn't eat much, two people can finish one portion. Hotel slippers that cost more than 6,000 a night have appeared, such as the Park Hyatt New York. Convenient transportation, easy travel, and nearby restaurants are all within walking distance. I would especially like to praise the front desk receptionist ELI, who was friendly and enthusiastic, provided thoughtful service, and promptly and actively solved problems...

Located in the declining Pittsburgh, the price is not cheap, the front desk is very nice, walking distance from CMU, there are many restaurants around, and it is very quiet at night
