The Del Monte Lodge Renaissance Rochester Hotel & Spa

Really cute hotel tucked away in Pitsford, NY... convenient to all surrounding colleges. Staff is superior!

If you have never been here, you need to. One of the most spectacular hotels we stay at. Seriously. And we always do JW and Ritz. This hotel has such attention to detail it amazes me. Bonvoy members you are heard here and recognized. From the moment you get to the front desk they are friendly and acknowledged for your Marriott elite. Just keep in mind that upgrades are very difficult for them as much as they want to do it because of the very few suites they have. But they will ask (they do me) what floor I like, lower or upper. But the rooms are gorgeous. On the last two chilly nights I used the fluffy throw on the bed and that was wonderful. The shower is almost immediate with the hot water and the shower are roomy and have all the amenities you need. The rooms are so roomy and the beds are delicious. Yes delicious..so comfy!! There is a coffee maker and small fridge in each room and I love that. Best part...the rooms are pristine! Clean and sparkling. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the rooms are very dimly lit. I would like a bit more light. But I'll trade that for everything else this little gem has to offer. And did I mention that they are on the canal. Yes!! You can go down for an amazing breakfast and watch see the canal right out the window. Talk about ambiance. This is a must for everyone.

We were in Pittsford to attend a family wedding, and the Del Monte Lodge Renaissance was recommended by the bride. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. Not only were we warmly greeted upon arrival, but every employee we crossed paths with during our two-day stay said hello. We had drinks in the bar one evening, and all our requests were prompt and made to order. The rooms were very clean, as was the entire property. Having a restaurant on-site and free parking made our stay very easy, and we would happily return. Finally, the location of this hotel is beautiful, as it sits along the tree-lined path that runs parallel to the Erie Canal, making for easy walking to Fattoush for Mediterranean food, Simply Crepes for a delicious breakfast and the Dairy Barn for coffee or a sweet treat. Thinking about staying here? Do it!

My wife and I along with our son recently visited Rochester to visit our granddaughter. While there, we stayed at the Del Monte Lodge. This hotel is in a very nice area with a lot to do within walking distance. The service was very good and the room was very nice.

Pittsford is a beautiful town on the Erie canal, the hotel is right on it's banks. The problem with this hotel is the noise from it's heating and ac system which is hotel wide, we had 3 sleepless nights, when we informed staff, they said they were aware of the issue and planned to do an overhaul of the system next January. This hotel cares nothing for the comfort of its guests. There was a group of us there for a wedding and we all had the same complaint. AVOID IF YOU REQUIRE THE VERY MINIMUM OF A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP

The noise and vibration from the HVAC system prevents you from having a good night's sleep. This is issue is known to the staff! we changed rooms and had the same result. It's supposed to be a Spa hotel, the definition of SPA is relaxation, not the case here. Booked for 3 nights but checked out after one horrible night's stay.
