We stayed here at the end of August. We booked 2 swim up rooms and were allocated them next door to each other as per our request. The rooms themselves were spotless and modern (found the window into the bathroom a bit weird but there was a blind). I was a little disappointed to only get water in our mini fridge but not a big deal. We were in rooms 129 & 130 which was the best block in my opinion. We had sunshine on our decking all morning until about 1pm and it stayed on the pool until about 3pm. It was a really quiet block with a green view. The other blocks either opened out onto the front of the hotel or the bar area and were far less private. We loved the snack bar at our apartments and ate there nearly every lunchtime. The Greek salad was delicious and there were pizza slices, toasties and burgers too which my hubbie and daughters enjoyed. The staff there were great too - I hope they've saved enough for their Ferrari! The food in the main buffet was ok, a bit lacking in choice and not a great selection for vegetarians. I would recommend going to the buffet in the main hotel instead as it seemed to have more choice. The woman who ran that restaurant was absolutely lovely, so chatty and friendly. We went to the Italian one night. The food was nice but the waitress was miserable. It was also a bit lacking in atmosphere as we were one of only 2 tables in there (despite them having to move back the time of our reservation). We met the cutest kitten during our stay, who made himself at home on our terrace :) All in all, it wasn't the height of luxury, but it was really relaxing. I would definitely recommend paying the extra for the swim up rooms.

We stayed here as part of a large group due to a family wedding but this hotel is not family friendly nor a 5 star hotel. Upon arrival, which was late (10pm) we were taken straight to the restaurant which was left open for us, which was a nice touch. We then checked in and paid a hefty 100 euro tourist tax. (10 euro a night due to this being a ‘5 star hotel’) When entering our room I thought it was nicely decorated and probably the most 5 star aspect of this whole hotel, although it was warm as they’d left the sliding doors open all day so the air con wasn’t on. I then noticed our toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the flush was also very wobbly on the wall and fell off quite easily too! Looking outside I was also quite disappointed to be met with a view of the car park right next to a VERY loud road which constantly has bikes and cars playing loud music driving down it all through the night. However the biggest gripe was there was no cot in the room for our 14 month daughter even though they were well aware an infant was in our room. We went back down to reception to tell them this (it was already 11pm local time) and I was asked if it ‘could wait till the morning’…well no not really, my daughter can’t sleep on the floor for the night. Meeting others from our party we then found out 2 rooms had been left a bottle of wine in their rooms, but the other 3 rooms in our party hadn’t? Seems a bit random how they just pick and choose and don’t give everyone the same treatment. The cot issue was eventually sorted that night and I was offered a room replacement the next day however after already unpacking 4 suitcases I really didn’t want to then repack and unpack again so we stuck with our room. I also didn’t realise until the very last day when we used a families room for a late check out that all the other rooms had soaps, shampoo, conditioners, body lotions etc all in bottles in their bathrooms but ours didn’t (I was none the wiser on this) so yeah basically if you get room 201 then request another room because you have the short straw! What I did like about our room was the decoration, the beds were comfy and had quilts on them rather than just sheets, we had 2 tvs although one didn’t work, the main tv had Netflix on it which was a hit with the kids when we were getting ready and chilling in the room. There was also a mini fridge and quite a lot of wardrobe space, but nowhere for our 4 suitcases to go so these ended up on our balcony all holiday and got wet quite often due to the wet weather at times. Onto the hotel amenities: Although nicely decorated the restaurant was small and was very repetitive, a lot of our party didn’t want to keep eating there due to this. I enjoyed the food I had and appreciate this is a smaller hotel so there wasn’t going to be loads of selection. I really enjoyed the breakfast and felt for the first week standards were high in the restaurant. After 7 days the hotel seemed to have got significantly

This was my kids first ever holiday (age 3 & 1) and my husbands first time on an all inc. I myself have travelled all over and done all inc many times so knew what to expect. I have to be honest I was absolutely blown away by this hotel. We stayed in room 142 which was not far from reception, we had a pool right outside our terrace, the pool bar right behind that and the restaurant again just a stones throw away. The location of this room was everything! The food choices I found to be amazing and my daughter loved the kids corner where she could make her own plate up. The room was lovely and clean, towels replaced everyday and staff even put rose petals around room for our anniversary! The location of the hotel was fab too with tsilivi town just up the road! The entertainment was average however my kids absolutely loved the mini disco and the entertainment team were incredible and endearing. Hope they are still there when we come back! Now for the best part (for us) and that was the water park. To see the looks of sheer enjoyment in my kids faces being here was just unmatched! Even my husband loved it as there was plenty for everybody when it came to slides etc. This hotel was impeccable and matched my expectations and more! Also, I couldn’t have wished for friendlier staff they were so incredible and patient! Will 1000% return in the future, thanks all at Aqua Bay Hotel!

Our first family holiday in 8 years and we were very happy with this hotel. We were greeted with complimentary drinks while we checked, there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room and we were given beach towels for our stay that we changed every day. The staff were amazingly helpful, the food was fantastic and plenty to choose from for everybody in our party of 6 from an 8yr old up to a 70yr old. The hotel is spotless and nothing was too much for the helpful staff. The all inclusive water park was fantastic for the children with plenty of longer for us all. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. A perfect place to go with something for everybody. Lots to eat and delicious all inclusive cocktails and drinks. Shops, beach and bars and restaurants only a shirt walk from the hotel. It's the only place I've been that I would book again straight away. 10/10 from me and my family.

Defiantly not a 5* more like 3* if that. Will not return. Before arriving I read some negative reviews and was contemplating cancelling our holiday and booking elsewhere and I wish I did. I’ll start with a positive- The hotel its self is very small and clean, the rooms were always clean and smelt nice but the outside really lets it down. Theres loads and loads of biting ants in and all around the hotel. They’re on the sunbeds and crawl onto you while sunbathing and get onto all your belongings. They were even on our balcony. The food is ok but very repetitive and the dining room is so small. You have to wait to be seated and sometimes we had to wait outside for a table. The dining room fans are so noisy and actually really annoying while you’re trying to have a meal, you constantly have people brushing past you and moving your chair in so people can get past because there’s barely any space. We managed to book into the Italian restaurant which was ok but we had (again) ants crawling up the chairs and table so we ate and left immediately. We couldn’t get a booking at the Mediterranean restaurant the whole week we was there which was frustrating. The sewer smell next to the restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The pool DOES stain swimwear and the pools were always dirty with bits floating in them even first thing in the morning. The water park was the best part of the resort but at weekends it’s very busy with locals so unless you go first thing you might struggle for a sunbed. Aircon in the room only worked for short periods before it cut off and it wasn’t powerful enough for you to feel working. We had family staying in another room and they had the same issue and after speaking to other guests it seemed this was an issue within the whole hotel. The swim up rooms are in the shade and shared with other hotel guests and VERY overlooked, not private at all. Although you could use other hotel facilities we never did as these facilities looked worse than those at aqua bay suites. The entertainment is so poor and not worth waiting for. The children’s entertainment is inside which is unbearably hot and there’s only ever 1 person serving at the only bar so the ques in the evening are ridiculous. My best advice is to book elsewhere as this hotel is run down, facilities are so poor and minimal, location is poor and defiantly not worth the money. I have no idea how it has 5*.

Mało rozrywki w hotelu, daleko do plaży ( słabej plaży), przeciętne drinki. Na plus obsługa i jedzenie w głównej restauracji i to tyle. Ogólnie nie Polecamy!!!

We stayed for a week in room 120 (swim up). 3 of us - myself and 2 daughters age 21 and 9 years. Welcome - we were greeted with cold welcome drinks which were well needed. We were given tokens for pool towels which you can change throughout your stay. We were given a sheet of a4 which outlined the food and drink allowances. Includes one night at both Ellie and italian at the water park which you need to book. Themed nights at the water park which you also need to book. We weren’t given a map of the site but there is one on the wall which we took a photo of. Room - the swim up was lovely. Enough space for us, the bathroom was good, some limescale but otherwise clean. Showers were hot and powerful. Our room had sun until around 4pm to some point. There were beds opposite our room on the grass but these had a lingering sewage smell around.. Cleanliness - the cleaners came in daily, cleaned floor, made bed - but I don’t think bedding got changed in our week. Towels were changed each evening for bathroom - which felt an odd time. Food - the on-site restaurant was reasonable for breakfast but lunch and dinner felt less equipped for children with no children’s section. I wouldn’t consider us to be overly fussy yet we did struggle for choices. The snack bar made food to order which we much preferred. The water park also had good to order too. Water park - this had lots to do but felt quite crowded and beds had little shelter when we got there. The drinks were not great, coke/lemonade was all on tap and very syrup like. Cocktails similarly were very syrup like. It didn’t feel that fresh juices were used at all and for 5 star I would have expected much better. Swim up pool allocation - this does get abused at times. 5 days of our week was fine but the remaining 2, we found people went to the snack bar and children (and adults) were jumping into the swim up pool. This isn’t managed at all. We had some jumping in at the middle of the night - although this was a one off and I think followed a wedding event. It didn’t disturb us much, but could see it might do others. I found the rooms to be quite quiet externally and rarely heard corridor noise. Entertainment - we found this to be quite poor on the only night we went. We were bitten quite a lot so didn’t go back there. I feel this hotel doesn’t reflect the 5 star that Greece has given it. It feels as though aqua bay suites has been added to the group more recently and to a higher specification but the food, entertainment and rest of the resort doesn’t reflect the 5 stars. I would say the room is 4 star and the rest is 3 star. Lastly there is a sewage smell in varying degrees throughout the complex. In sone areas it’s quite unpleasant but in others there is nothing. This complex is also further away from the more popular restaurants of tsilivi, although a nice walk.
