A very good experience, receptionist was helpful on check-in, room was clean with a good view, and the breakfast buffet was fine. Starbucks coffee also served in the bar area, for drinking in or taking away.
I did not use the health centre but looked reasonably good.
Quiet, clean and efficient - would use again.

We used Holiday Inn Maidstone Sevenoaks for our son’s 10th birthday party and I would highly recommend this venue . The regular event manager was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and attention to detail was impeccable . All the staff members were helpful and pleasant to deal with and always had a nice friendly , approachable mannerism , which was rather welcoming. From reception to catering staff all were attentive and efficient. The event room was clean, well laid out as agreed and adjustments were promptly made on request. The room was comfortable and spacious, and a member of staff turned on the aircon promptly on request when it got warmer They made provision to allow my input and use of my own equipments / adjustments in the menu provision on request. Also the children’s buffet food provided was well cooked and pleasantly presented, it was tasty and abundant in supply , we had plenty to take away at the end . All in all their positive energy made the party a success and i would happily return for future events and would highly recommend. Thank you once again

Very tired hotel. Beds very uncomfortable. Rooms not very clean. Rooms need a complete revamp. Showers do not work, like a dripping tap. Rats in the courtyard which we reported. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend or stay again. Swimming pool was OK but nothing special

The tone was set at check in as I was checked in by the new girl, not an issue. After she had explained everything she could including breakfast times (failing to say it's chargeable here) she told me I had to wait as she needed her colleagues help, she continually apologized as I waited. The pregnant colleague was stood next to her and had been talking over the counter since I entered the door with a cleaner making idle chit chat about non hotel business. She kept looking over and after a few minutes broke off the conversation and apologised knowing the poor service she had given. A great welcome. Parking is chargeable at £5 (its rural Kent not Central London) and breakfast is charged at £16.50 (I left most of it as its overcooked) and not explained as chargeable at checking. I'm a reward member who is used to free parking and breakfast at Holiday Inns - not at this one. The rooms are tired and it's like an 80's hotel they are trying to put lipstick on. I won't be back as even with more lipstick it will be the same.

It’s always going to be an amazing stay when are greeted in such a way that nothing will be a problem. Thanks to Liz for the very pleasant check in and warm welcome. Probably one of the best check in experiences we have had in 25 years of staying away. Thanks Liz for making our holiday the best.
