Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park

2nd time here and Currently waiting in star prestige lounge for transfer after 5 day stay. Only 4 stars this time as food was average at best. Staff at bars and restaurants are all a credit to the hotel and best we have experienced. Room was lovely and bali beds are a must for the lazy ones like us. Few French people think they own the sunbeds but if you don't mind them its great place for relaxing time. Whole hotel is spotless.

Returned last week from a fabulous 10 night stay at this hotel. Could not fault the staff, the food, the cleanliness and general all round feel of the hotel. Our room was brilliant almost like an apartment rather than a hotel bedroom. The food was varied and served by very friendly and helpful staff. The dining room was cleared very quickly and anything staff could help with they did. Particular mention to the bar staff who were great - particularly Jessica.

This was our second visit as a family to this hotel and we were just as impressed second time round. The rooms and general hotel areas are always clean and tidy. The staff can’t do enough for you, very accommodating and friendly. The evening entertainment was always brilliant, but could be quite loud outside (our room was a family room which was ideally located with great views but very close to all the evening noise from the poolside). The beach is a 2 minute walk out of the hotel and the sea views are stunning! Highly recommend the all inclusive, it’s so worth it and there’s plenty of choice, especially if travelling with children. The children’s pool with slides is lovely, but to note it didn’t seem heated, whereas a small children’s pool around the main side of the hotel was very warm. Only negative we had was that people reserved loungers with towels every day. By 8:30 all the loungers around the smaller pool will have been reserved despite nobody sat on or near them, infact the pools didn’t “open” until 10am. Looking back on previous comments this has been fed back to the hotel before and the response is they’d resolve the problem which unfortunately they haven’t.

Great location. Beautiful views and a clear view towards Fuerteventura, a 10 minute stroll from Playa Blanca. We spent a week in a Star Presige room which was airy with very nice views over the Atlantic. The bathroom area was big with a double shower room and double sink. The Star Prestige pool area was very nice with a good size pool and a separate large jacuzzi, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool bar was well stocked and the staff members were amazing, there was entertainment in the daytime and evenings. The only downside for us was the lack of an indoor bar in the Prestige area. The Sportsbar in the general part of the hotel is the only indoor bar, which does get full of kids at certain times, the barstaff here is also very friendly. We were disappointed with the Star Prestige restaurant as there is no outside eating area and the restaurant gets humid and stuffy. The choice of food in the SP restaurant is limited and the guests have to go to the general restaurant next door to have more choice. We did not like this part of the prestige experience as this restaurant was like a cantine, noisy, full of kids, kids going around on scooters, mothers breastfeeding and babies with nappies on the tables. The hot food was often not hot, fresh fish undercooked,cheese not kept cold and got sweaty. A lot of the food was warmed up food from the previous day, we had sushi one lunchtime but the rice was so dry, it fell apart. We realised that the sushi was the leftovers from 2 days before. The wines in the SP restaurant were very good and the staff again very friendly.

We returned again to this hotel a few weeks ago after staying here for the first time last January. We travelled with our parents and our 1 and 4 year old. The hotel took on board our request for a ground floor room around the children’s pool and for our parents’ room to be close by (they even had a complimentary upgrade in order to fulfil this request - their room was beautiful and amazing sea views). It was great visiting in April as it was a little warmer than our January holiday and lots more going on in terms of entertainment. We didn’t feel the holiday was lacking at all the first time we visited - but this year it was just even better! The entertainment team were non stop and all lovely and welcoming. My son thought they were great. They worked so hard and clearly loved what they do. The slides and pool area are amazing and my son loved the little snack van for his daily ice cream! The little baby pool was nice and warm for our baby. The food is amazing. We’ve never been to an all inclusive like it. So much variety and choice every day, meat cooked how you like it to order, fresh pasta with a choice of toppings and Sauces, pancake and omelettes made fresh each morning. They also have so many desserts! They cater for allergies as most foods are labelled. Lovely wine and variety of beers and soft drinks too. The rooms are spacious and have lots of storage. Last year we stayed in a double which was big and our son slept on the sofa which converted into a bed in the room with us. This was lovely and modern. The family room we had this year wasn’t as newly furnished as the double we’d stayed in previously, but was still a nice room. It was great being on the ground floor as we had lots of trip to and from the room for stuff for the kids! Also when they had an afternoon nap we laid on the sun loungers on our patio which was lovely. One thing to mention is the sofas in the room don’t convert to double beds, so my husband and I ended up either sleeping on the single sofas in the room with the cot, and my son in the bedroom in the double! Or we would take in turns to stay with him towards the end of the holiday as the bed was comfier. The minibar was restocked daily for us and the water stations are all over to fill your bottles / jug for the room for cold fresh water. The hotel itself is lovely but it’s a lovely walk out as you’re right on the sea front with lovely beaches in each direction with lots of lovely bars, restaurants and shops. It’s also lovely at the marina if you fancy the walk - it’s about 45 minutes (although we had a pram). We didn’t manage it this year with a baby and a 4 year old but we walked there for with my son last year when he was in the pram (with a stop at the beach on the way). It’s great for walking with the pram as it’s paved for miles in each direction which was ideal when my daughter woke early in the mornings. I love it here and could come again and again - I hope to plan a third visit again soon!

Iberostar Lanzarote Park is truly a gem of a resort, and my recent stay there was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit was perfect. The dedication and attentiveness of the entire team, from housekeeping to the waiters and reception staff, was truly remarkable. It was evident that they took great pride in their work and genuinely cared about the guests' experience. The entertainment staff also deserve high praise for their outstanding efforts in creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. They poured their hearts and souls into ensuring that everyone had a fantastic time, and their passion for their work was truly infectious. The food choices at Iberostar Lanzarote Park were nothing short of fantastic. The variety and quality of the cuisine available were truly impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether it was a sumptuous breakfast spread or a delectable dinner, every meal was a delight to savor. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of my experience at Iberostar Lanzarote Park. The exceptional staff, from the housekeeping to the entertainment team, made my stay unforgettable. Combined with the outstanding food choices, this resort truly exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return.

Second visit and once again amazing! I am recovering from serious illness and the travel agent had told the hotel and they gave us the most fabulous room we could have wished for. Staff are what makes this hotel stand out. Star Prestige check in flawless. I can't remember the name of the guy but he was just so helpful and friendly. Food super. Loads of activities. Plenty of sunbeds. Will review fully at the end of our stay.
