We had an excellent stay at this hotel and the friendliness of the staff really made our holiday. The food is standard for an AI hotel but the drinks were fantastic with all premium brands available for standard AI customers. We visited the Kasbah A La Carte restaurant one night and it was an excellent dining experience. The “no reserve a sunbed before 9:30 ” rule is enforced which makes it easy to get a sunbed at any time of day. Evening entertainment in the Piano Bar and Disco Bar was varied and of good quality. The entertainment staff were great fun without being too pushy. Our room looked a bit dated and there was a lot of building work going on which put a slight negative on our stay! The Wi-Fi was fantastic and you can even stream movies whilst lying around the pool.

H10 Timanfaya Palace is everything we wish for on holiday; wonderful friendly staff from check in desk and right through to every member, all smiling and welcoming. It is good to see the "Captain" of this wonderful ship Jose Angel circulating and eating in the dining room. He is very approachable. It is kept so well, clean, comfortable.and very peaceful, with a great clientele. It can't be faulted.

As ever the staff at this hotel are it's shining light. Our room was spacious but looking tired now. There's a bathroom refurbishment scheme happening. Our bathroom, though spacious, needed that update to modern standards. Restaurant food quality pretty good for a 300 room hotel. Drinks prices are higher than local bars but you'd expect this. We always enjoy our stay at this hotel and would happily return. It's facing increased competition from the new Barcelo and will need to improve its offer to cope. Despite my comments I'd still thoroughly recommend staying here.

This is an excellent hotel could not fault it, everything was perfect. The room was large with a great walk in shower maybe we had one of the revamped rooms, building work is going on but it did not affect our stay at all. The food had a good choice and if you are half board you can swap evening for lunch if you like. The staff were all very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and so would most people we spoke to. It is in a great location you ca n walk straight outside the hotel either way along a promenade with several beaches and bars and restaurants. The only thing I will say is that alot of the beaches do not have loungers and umbrellas you need to walk, bus or taxi to Dorado beach which has.

Just back from an 11 night trip, we first visited around 14 years ago, it was good then, now even better! Arrived late evening, were handed a glass of bubbly, checked in in no time at all, were advised to leave our luggage and head down to the restaurant which was to close in 20 minutes. Had a quick something to eat and a nice cold glass of white wine. Sorted! Room was lovely, large, airy, wooden flooring which is so much nicer than the usual Spanish tiles. Big bathroom, lots of hot water, toiletries including conditioner. We opted to go all inclusive, a definite no brainer! Choice of 2 different white wines, which you can order by the glass, half or full bottle, and have served in an ice bucket, even in the buffet restaurant. Nice touch. All the drinks are top shelf brands, you ask for a Baileys, that’s what you get, not ‘Irish Cream’. Even Grey Goose & Belvedere vodka, Remy Martin cognac etc. Not to mention teas, coffees, Irish coffees, cakes etc etc. Choice of 2 venues for lunch, the buffet, or if you prefer waiter service, the pool restaurant. The Kasbah à la carte restaurant is a must do. Food and service wonderful (especially from the dashing Daniel!) If you’re AI you can have more visits than your one per week, for a 40% discount, and you still get your AI drinks. Water is freely available everywhere, but bring a reusable water bottle, no thousands of plastic bottles at this resort ✅ When we first visited this resort, the naturist section was at the end of the resort, behind a wicker fence which meant there was nothing to look at, and it was miles from anything. Now it’s on the roof, and it’s delightful. Nobody can see in, but you get glorious views of the resort and the coastline. Plenty of beds and shades, and a shower. It’s a bit of a trek to the toilets and even further to the bar, but that’s a small price to pay. Oh and the pool towels are amazing, actually long enough to full your sun lounger, no need to bring your own. Costs 1€ if you want to change for a clean one. Staff here are amazing, especially guest relations Viki, if they can make something happen for you, they will. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary during this trip and she sent a bottle of fizz and some cookies to our room along with a handwritten note 💕 Pepe in the buffet was always checking on us, and Angel in the pool bar, piano bar, well he was everywhere, was always on hand. The drinks service in the piano bar was something to behold, a well oiled machine turning out cocktails and spirits being poured at your table. Entertainment was pretty good, and varied. The second week was not just a repeat of the first, which is the norm at a lot of other hotels, so that was refreshing. And of course if you don’t like what’s on in the show bar there was always some live music, guitar, saxophone whatever, in the piano bar. The biggest thing I found about our stay here was that it was easy. We didn’t have to ‘work at it’ The staff took care of everything. De

H10 Timanfaya Palace currently under going refurbishment. Work starts 8.30am, finishes about 4pm. Guests stay above, beside and below work. Noise echoes around the hotel. It is not currently a peaceful, quiet holiday location. If you fly with TUI you may have some doubts about there email saying they have only just been informed about the refurbishment... If you are going to book you might want ask you operator about how long work is going to last and where your room will be.

Volveremos.

Not posted a review for a number of years, we visited the hotel at the end of March for 10 days, and stayed Privilege All Inclusive. I emailed the hotel a week or so before and asked for a room on the 3rd floor and a low number, delighted that this was arranged. Good to be welcomed back at reception, with the check-in only taking a few minutes. I posted a couple of photos on Facebook of the view from our room, which was 301. Good to note that the WiFi appears to have been improved. Most days followed a similar pattern, early breakfast, then up to the privilege area, which in the main was quite quiet. Although some people were there very early for specific sun loungers and then heading for breakfast at 9,30, no real need there are plenty of loungers. We had breakfast and lunch in the buffet restaurant, as it suits us, with the staff bringing water and wine to the table as soon they spotted us coming in for lunch. We also ate in the buffet most evenings, although we had booked the Kasbah for a couple of nights but in the end cancelled the bookings, the menu has remained the same for a number of years which is bit disappointing. Most evenings we would go to the Piano Bar after dinner for a couple of drinks and then head downstairs depending on what the entertainment was on. As a malt whisky and gin drinker delighted with the choices available, many thanks to Angel for looking after us most evenings. We have in the last few years stayed twice a year at TP, although we have stayed at better hotels TP suits us on many levels. The staff are really excellent, from the boss Jose through all the departments. It was good to see Jose in the restaurant most lunchtimes and evenings. We enjoyed the meat and fish being freshly cooked at lunchtime and also in the evenings, we didn’t have lunch in the Pool bar this trip, and would have drink most days in the Privilege Lounge. The Club Bar has been a great addition in recent years, although if it opened a bit earlier that would great as its a bit of a trek if you run out of water in the morning and need to go down to the Pool Bar. We have already booked our next trip which will be in November, are there things that could be improved of course there are, lots of people enjoy the Kasbah restaurant but for us the menu needs to change, maybe a couple of daily chef specials would help. As many people have stated the staff are great, and its always a nice touch when they have remembered you from previous visits and what you drink. The GM has stated many times that they are a very good 4 star hotel, that’s their aim which they achieve. In summary a very enjoyable holiday, many thanks to everyone at TP, for ensuring that this is the case.

After 2 fairly recent reviews of this fantastic hotel it's difficult to find different superlatives to describe how amazing everything is here. The Reception staff are kind, smiling and go out of their way to be so helpful. In fact all the staff throughout the hotel are wonderful and seem to be really happy in their work. They are what makes this hotel so exceptional, and I believe that this all stems from the Director / Manager (Jose) who seems to be really proud of them and passes on to them any compliments which he receives. My room was again really clean and comfortable and I sleep better here than at home. The food is lovely with so much choice, and the main restaurant never seems crowded as all the food is well spaced out. I very much appreciate the hotel's sustainable and Green policies which are far better than I have seen in other hotels (particularly the use of re-useable plastic glasses). I continue to love my visits to this relaxing hotel & hope to return again later this year.
