Caybeach Sun

This is a good budget complex with everything you need for a self catering break, but with the option of breakfast, drinks and snacks if needed. The apartments are clean but could use some updating and maintenance especially in the kitchen, and we also had a few issues with the bathroom when the shower flooded, but the reception quickly got this sorted for us and provided fresh towels too. There is a great little shop on site, well priced, which also has a little ‘swap shop’ area which is a great idea where you can leave stuff for other visitors to use when you leave. Highlight of the trip is Pica the mini club and event organiser who kept all the kids busy over Halloween with Trick or treating and pumpkin carving fun. Pools are very cold and children’s slide area gets a bit slippy as the day goes on so be aware. The indoor pool is heated but adults only and is a nice area to get a bit of quiet and relaxation. The jacuzzi was too cold though. The complex is about a ten minute walk from the main playa blanca ***** and Dorada beach and there are supermarkets near also. You have to give deposits on arrival for the air con, tv remote and safe so this can be a bit confusing and the locks on the door and windows were a bit tricky to get used to. I can’t fault any of the staff especially the cleaners and maintenance people they were so busy all day long and everyone on the complex was very friendly.

Caybeach is very clean nice and quiet Staff were good Shops and small pubs and eats just across the road Bus stops right outside to town 1 Euro 40 So good returning for 5 days in December Loved it weather was excellent Many Thanks to Jet2 for a great flight and Transfer

my partner brought me here for my 40th birthday and were currently still.here , the hotel and the grounds are spotless as are the pools , lovely big pools the gardens surrounding the hotel are lovely , the indoor pool is lovely , the staff are friendly and the pool bar guy sorry I can't remember his name is very good staff playing games by the pool with adults and kids, the onsite shop sells lots of things the apartments ye maybe a little dated but our one is perfect for us everything we need and comfy beds. it's around a 10 minute walk down to to the beach front which is immaculate and stunning good restaurants we found a pizzarie and it's the best pizza we've ever had. we would definitely return to this hotel it's around 30 minutes from the aiport not far at all we are pleased we come here

Ok. Reviews on here are true. Place could be so much better. Rooms are clean but tired and need updating. Rooms cleaned 6 out the 7 I was there. Only serve breakfast at €7.50 if not prepaid. Snacks at bar if required. Happy hour twice a day Music playing was same most days with some loud some not. Go to shop and buy cans of beer at 80 cents a can. A Lidl or aldi being built 200 yards away will be better. Staff were all amazing and friendly 12 euros for the hire of air con I got back at end. If you were a family there is no air con anywhere else apart from bedrooms so if using sofa bed bear that in mind 10 min walk to beach and 15 to bars and restaurants. All very nice and pleasant. My gripe ( for TUI) I arrived at 11.00 Room was not ready until 16.00 Loads of empty ones and others walked in straight to their rooms. Was a good weeks break Could be better but you get what you pay for.

Stayed here for a week. Hotel is in an excellent location convenient to both the seafront walkway and marina. Rooms are clean and basic but have everything you need. The staff were all very accommodating and helpful. We didn’t eat here so cannot comment on the food. Our only complaint would be the pool bar music was exceptionally loud some days and did put us off having a drink there however thankfully our room was far enough away that it didn’t spoil our stay and we went to the beach most days. If this issue gets sorted we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again .

Caybeach Sun. We arrived at the hotel and the staff were friendly and soon checked us in. Our room was overlooking the pool area . The complex was very clean . The rooms could do with a bit of refurbishing. We were looking forward to a bit of sunshine and a relaxing stay, however this was not to be. The pool bar started playing Very Loud music at lunchtime and didn’t stop until approx 8pm every day , the only place to get away from the noise was to shut ourselves in our bedroom with all doors and windows shut or leave the complex .This was not advertised in the read up and even our travel agent didn’t know about it . We will therefore not be booking this hotel again
