Spring Hotel Vulcano

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

We have just came back from 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel . I’m not a one for reviews but I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff who were amazing and so accommodating and friendly . We stayed on floor 6 with a pool view the rooms were spotless and very modern (2 large tvs) beautiful room view . We upgraded to the up terrace which I would recommend anyone to do . Food and cocktails were lovely plenty of choices . Relaxing in the infinity pool with the most amazing views . The hotel is right next to the golden Mile and plenty of restaurants and places to have a drink . I can’t wait to book back up . Thank you for an amazing 2 weeks . Till next time ❤️

We have just returned from this hotel . The hotel itself is lovely and kept clean by housekeeping staff . Breakfast isn’t too bad can find something to eat . The new dinner option is appalling . We were there for 2 weeks so the 1st week is repeated on the second week . After 7 days we refused to eat the evening meal any longer . We were constantly sending food back as was raw of freezing cold . Staff were clearing your plate before you had finished and hovering round your table was awful experience . What happened to clearing once everyone is finished ? The staff huff and puff if you ask to change it or don’t understand you . Reception staff are the rudiest I have ever known . They do not smile and are very abrupt especially one man . The hotel is now more orientated to other nationalities except the Brits . The yougsyers are spoiling it too .

Beautiful hotel. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Central to all amenities. Had an absolutely fantastic week at this hotel. Not 1 complaint. Rooms are very spacious and have lovely comfortable beds. Looking forward to our next stay. 🌞

We got a free upgrade to a suite, but had no bathrobes, slippers and had to pay for the safe. We have been visiting this hotel for a number of years and always found it fabulous, however in recent years the hotel has been refurbished. Refurbishment of the social areas pool and rooms are fabulous but this has been at the cost of reduction in cleaning times of rooms, loss of choice at breakfast and having to have a fixed time for evening meal and fixed menus. The pool bar is under staffed coupled with an extended menu leaves it poor. The bar has no atmosphere and the evening entertainment is extremely poor, alongside the fact that prices has doubled.

We stayed here last year and it was very good. This year wasn't as great. The bedsheets were poor quality, some of the staff were quite rude and you couldn't get wifi in the bedrooms, only in the lobby area. I don't think we'll be back.

Cockroach in bedroom just after midnight - patio doors never opened due to previous reviews. Went to reception who could not care less - offered to move us to non UP room as it was free - yeah thats going to happen after paying for more expensive room. Gave me spray & when j advised i was not happy & would not sleep as cockroach had gone behind panelling he said he didn't care - we will never be back. Clearly huge problem as so many reviews report cockroaches - disgusting.

After enjoying many visits to the Vulcano after our recent visit it clear that they are encouraging different age/type of customer Allowing them to play music by the pool , using large inflatables and ball games in pool , so no longer a relaxing place to use And will now find another hotel more conducive to our requirements The change in dining.also reflects in my decision On a final note though no fault of housekeeping who do their best in the limited time they have , the balcony and furniture are in need of deep cleaning ( see pics ) On a final note the Team at Vulcano are still the best and trying hard in the new regime that has been introduced Such a pity the company seem to want rid of loyal guests

Fantastic hotel! Our second time staying at the Vulcano. Very clean & modern interior. Pools & pool area very clean. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Quality options - buffet for starters & deserts and can select a main course from approx 12 options. Staff very polite & helpful. Option to use a shower room after check out as we had a late flight.
