Really lovely and spacious apar**ent, comfortable, cleaned daily. Great location, 10 minutes walk to the beach, few good restaurants around, all shops within minutes walk. Staff friendly, big and very well kept swimming pool which is heated. I don’t understand negative opinions, that’s so unfair. We had a lovely week away, thank you

As good as the other reviews suggested it would be. Very well run, clean, helpful friendly staff, good apar**ents, and big pool that doesn't get too crowded. Decent price too. Mix of nationalities. Proper aircon was a godsend during the very hot Calima. We had older teen kids with us, families with younger children seem to gravitate towards the Abora Catarina hotel across the road (much busier), which suited us fine. Location is great for all the usual stuff - beach, supplies, restaurants. Go and see the amazing dunes about 5 mins away. Close to lots of bus routes if you want to go further afield by public transport. If I could suggest one improvement it would be to boost the wifi by the pool - would help with lower-power devices like phones.

Lovely, big outdoor pool. Pool table outdoors also. Friendly pool attendant. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Secure building. Good size rooms with large balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom. TV in lounge, limited English language channels though.

Nice ground floor apar**ent with garden. From the garden you can directly access the swimming pool, just a few steps away. Large spacious shower. Comfortable bed. Free WiFi. Convenient to the bus stop for those arriving by public transport, as we did. In a 15-minute walk you can reach the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas and all the seaside clubs. Also in 10/15 minutes on foot you reach the famous Yumbo. Too bad we've already returned home

Booked this place as a timeshare. As with so many timeshares nowadays these are showing signs of 'tiredness' On the plus side it was a nice big apar**ent, had every utensil imaginable, was spotlessly clean and cleaned throughout the week with fresh towels, comfy beds, and a large balcony, staff were friendly enough & helpful. On the negative side the walls seemed paper thin so could hear everything from adjacent room/s, not a single British channel on the TV, the shower trickled water at you (although plenty of hot water), no 'facilities' other than a pool......& if such things bother you you'd probably find yourself the only Brits there (it seemed the clientele were mostly German - as is this part of the resort in general)

Thank you for your reply,Sorry you are wrong,I we was staying at Club excelsior not JR. Hotel ,as I mentioned we was charged for evening meal as we was on half board,also the Menu is smaller then it used to be ,I know I have to wait till the meal to be cooked ,it's getting served in the first place,and I don't eat microwave meals..

correct mais sans plus, des appartements sur une rue avec un immeuble en face et des travaux. La piscine est très bien, le niveau d'équipement des appartements est juste suffisant. Sinon il est bien placé...

Residence collocato in posizione strategica al centro di tutto a Playa del Ingles ma soprattutto a 3 min a piedi dall'attrazione principale di Gran Canaria: LE DUNE!!! molto bella la piscina riscaldata e servizio di pulizie nell'appartamento quasi quotidiano. Peccato solo non ci sia 1 bar all'interno ma basta uscire dal Residence e attaccato trovi tutto quello che serve compreso 1 minimarket. Personale gentilissimo e a disposizione per qualsiasi informazione.

Apar**ent very dated. No microwave. No shop/bar/cafe within the complex. In fact, apart from the pool, there is nothing at the resort. Not even music by the pool. Outsiders use the pool so somedays there were no sun beds available. On our last day, we could not keep the room until we left at 4pm so had to shower in the toilets underneath the pool area. Very dirty, water was brown. Then they gave us an apar**ent so that we could dry our hair.......this apar**ent had a shower, so can't understand why we couldnt shower there too, although there were lots of dead cockroaches around, maybe that was why?Staff are helpful but english not the best. There is no information leaflets in foyer, or in the apar**ent to explain what is around the local area and how to get to the Yumbo Centre. We missed this until we spoke to a friend at home who had been there and used Google maps to find it. Would have been so much easier if there was info in the complex. Wouldnt stay here again.
