The staff are very friendly but unfortunately the hotel is definitely not the 4 stars it claims to be. The bed/matresses are not 4 star quality, no amenities in the bathroom and very poor sound proofing (could hear conversations in room next door even with all doors/windows closed).
We stayed on an all inclusive basis and found the food selection to be very similar for the entire duration of our stay lacking variation.
Lastly, the evening entertainment will need to be improved. While this is not of great importance to us, I know that this is an important factor for many people seeking these types of accomodation/vacation.

An okay hotel but services are not amazing. Sea view rooms on the other side are good.
If you are to change your room even in the same category as per the company’s policy they will change extras.

It was my third stay at Marieta, and once again, it was wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Maspalomas center, just off the promenade and close to the bus station. Each time, I had a room overlooking the street and square with the shopping center and some bars nearby, but the windows efficiently blocked any noise. This time, it was rather quiet outside anyway. Since it is an adult-only hotel, there were no screaming kids in the restaurant or the swimming pool, but during certain times of the year, it seems to attract mostly elderly guests. However, the vibe was more energetic this time. I opted for half-board, which included breakfast and dinner only, as I didn't plan to spend my days in the hotel. The food was excellent, especially for a seafood lover like myself—I could feast every evening. The restaurant staff and housekeeping were both excellent. Special thanks to Fernando at reception for the very warm welcome, and to the blond, long-haired, middle-aged lady with glasses who has been consistently helpful during each of my visits, handling any issues perfectly. On my last day, I spent a wonderful afternoon by the swimming pool. The bar service from Nathalie made my final hours at Marieta truly enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The staff was very friendly and were always ready to answer questions and give good advice.
However, the gym was awful. Placed in the basement and needed a proper cleaning and new equipment.
It’s a public gym.
The pool at the hotel needs a restoration as the paint is loose.

Fine værelser med skøn udsigt.
Maden mangler skilte så man kunne se hvad man spiser.
Lounge stolene var dårlige at sidde i passer ikke til et 4 stjerne hotel.

We wanted an adult only, all inclusive week in the sun for 4 friends and we got everything we hoped for. It was nice to see so many people travelling solo, groups of friends and also couples so it’s perfect for all. It felt safe and secure at all times all over the hotel and as a woman you could walk about late at night and feel comfortable. The guests were a friendly lot and most people were chatty which was nice and the staff were brilliant! They obviously enjoy their jobs and meeting new guests, in particular Nathalie and Antonio. Nathalie ran the pool bar everyday and nothing was too much trouble and she engaged with the guests and danced around the poolside collecting glasses. Such fun, we loved her! Also the lady who was lifeguard most days, didn’t get her name, she was also happy and fun and we liked her a lot too. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the daily room service was excellent. And the food, wow, there was so much choice at every meal that we all had about 3 courses at each meal!! Always different, but always something there I loved. Again, all the team in the restaurant were great. I booked through Jet2 and not used them before, or been on a package holiday before but found it excellent value for money and communications made it hassle and stress free. Highly recommend.

hotel 3 etoiles pas loin de la mer,adult only serviettes piscine sans apport,une petite piscine animations leger,calme sauf chambre cote jardin cote mer pour 10 jours c etait 200euros en plus il y a une boite de nuit qui tape de 21h30 a 00h30 difficile pour dormir,personel agreable,ne parlant pas francais le all in,buffet du matin bien, le midi et soir,rien ,,,,,,,,,,les boissons de l eau, les vrai alcool il faut payer,glaces a la piscine aussi chambre normale,,,,,hotel propre,je retiens la situation le prix ne correspond pas aux prestations sur les 5 hotels que j ai fait a playa, c est le moins bien
