Seehof could have been a nice hotel. However too much is missing. They didn’t clean the rooms we had booked, the food was terrible and sometimes uneatable, scramble eggs are made from powder, the receptionists ( with one exception- Marina) were unwelcoming and showed no interest in the guests. I would strongly advise against having dinner at the hotel. The food and how it was prepared does not belong at all in a 5 star hotel.

the room allocated corresponded exactly to the description of an "executive" room according to their website, but we had paid for a "deluxe" room but apparently the hotel no longer makes the difference only for "superior" and "deluxe" rooms , but continues to sell the Deluxe more expensive than the Executive... we can therefore find in an Executive having paid for a Deluxe (small bed 160 while Deluxe between 180 and 220cm), (room of 25m2 while Deluxe at min 30m2), (room with shower while Deluxe with shower and bath) etc etc
The room service is slow, we had to wait until 5 p.m. one day, unacceptable for a 5 star rating. Regular forgetting (water, coffee, laundry). at the Restaurant a real disaster: the cuisine is not worthy of a 5 star, but more of a canteen. Every day the dishes do not correspond to the menu, the sauces or accompaniments are different or not mastered (does not know how to make spätlzli, does not know the sauce for hunting, does not know how to make coq au vin, the desserts do not correspond never in the description, in short a cook not up to par). The servers are also not up to 5 star standards. the head waiter even has to organize carts because they don't know how to carry several plates. Obviously, most of them don't even speak a national language.

Incredible location for skiing. We got an old room which isn’t as nice. Quality of the bedding is below par. Great breakfast. Lovely bar. Medicare dinner.

This was my second stay at the Seehof and it surpassed my expectations once more. Another great stay and skiing holiday. I wouldn't normally single out individuals as all the staff were great but I would like to commend Carlos (the waiter) who consistently offered exceptional service, displaying professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanour that greatly enhanced my dining experience. Truly an asset to the Seehof Hotel. Please pass on my best wishes to Carlos.

Great 5-star hotel, extremely central location. Extremely friendly staff, very helpful. Beautiful, cozy lobby with fireplace, underground parking. The hotel has a long, interesting history. Kings and presidents have stayed here, the photo gallery is endless.

Excellent hotel in Davos Dorf: the hotel is very well located (50 meters from the lift to the Parsenn-Kloester ski area), very spacious rooms - even connected for families of 4-6 members, very good SPA area (although in the basement without views), good restoration (varied buffet and a la carte breakfast and 4-menu for dinner with variety every day).
