Great hotel, great service and overall a fantastic experience! Would recommend 100%!

A most elegant hotel which has been designed and renovated to the highest standard giving a feel of luxury throughout. It has amazing views, lovely rooms, delicious food and cocktails and, most importantly, a very helpful and friendly staff. On our last night there was a rare, very bad storm and the news was warning not to travel. We needed to get to Port Elizabeth for a flight and onward trip to the safari part of our holiday. Dean, the owner, was really helpful and made phone calls to get up to date info on the roads. He later left the hotel and kept in touch by text to let us know when it was safe to leave. The lady, who was acting manager that day, was equally concerned that we should get to our safari and asked a young couple, who had decided to leave earlier, to telephone so she could let us know if they had got through, which they did and she immediately advised us. We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful boutique hotel as a lovely place to stay, and shall never forget the way Dean and the kind member of staff were so concerned that we should be able to get to our safari.

The most beautiful room we have ever had with stunning sea views and a great roof terrace that gets very busy. The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow.

We loved our night at the Ivory Haus. Our room was comfortable and spacious and the staff was wonderful. We had planned to have dinner somewhere else, but one look at the rooftop bar (magnificent views) and the restaurant changed our mind: the drinks and food was superb. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent hotel in the centre of Plettenberg, with a fine restaurant overlooking the sea. Free parking is available next to the hotel. Of particular note, my wife is on crutches following a knee operation, so they kindly gave us a free upgrade from an upper floor room to a ground floor suite. Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous clean rooms and excellent restaurant on the rooftop! Would love to stay here for a week or more!

Beautiful hotel set on the edge of the Main Street in Plettenberg with amazing views of Look Out Beach. Hotel clean and beautifully presented and the room had a luxurious four poster bed. Good food choices at breakfast and a lovely evening meal. Staff could not of done more for us. Very friendly and informative on places to visit. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Nice rooftop bar however I was unable to order another drink, waiting over an hour for the waitress to serve me. She never did, so I left feeling ignored.
