One star less than 5 stars is just for narrow forest road that leads to the village. Otherwise, place is perfect for nature lovers. In the pristine nature in one of the most beautiful places of Croatia, staying here is privilege whenever you come: from snowy winter to hot summer. Houses are nice, wooden, comfortable and clean. Food is traditional and tasty. Lot of other interesting activities in 10 km range.

Marvellous place, at a stone s throw from the lakes. Charming wooden houses, warm and friendly staff. Very welcoming. Ideal accommodation for families with a number of activities including a petting farm. Very tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. The only downside, the food was slightly on the expensive side. Otherwise, a magical experience!

The cabins were clean and the staff was nice. Sound isolation was a little bad you could hear everything from other rooms but thats ok. The decor was on point and the animals were a very nice addition.

Malheureusement tout est trop cher en Croatie désormais, ce complexe ne fait pas exception ! L'avantage est qu'il est situé près de l'entrée "non officielle" (bien qu'il y ait un gardien) numéro 3, sans aucune queue ! Il faut donc acheter des billets pour le parc avant d'arriver. On y mange correctement, en tout cas à proximité il n'y a pas grand chose ou pas mieux. En revanche, le côté "tout en bois" pourrait être sympa si la propreté et le confort était au niveau du prix... ce n'est clairement pas le luxe en bois. Quant aux installations, les mini golf est abandonné et il n'y a plus de piscine (nous y étions en plein mois d'août, il y avait tout juste une sorte de petit jacuzzi à l'endroit où on était supposé trouver la piscine).

Au bout d'une route forestière étroite à l'entrée du Parc de Plivitce (3), un groupe de maisons traditionnelles en bois à 2 étages (sans ascenseur, ni aide ), ces maisons tout en bois sont charmantes de loin mais ce n'est pas le cas des chambres qui sont très petites et sans confort: salle de bains minuscule et défraichie, literie dure, TV avec chaines croates, autrichiennes seulement, peu d'éclairage et surtout un accueil avec sourire mais sans effort aucun pour les hôtes; même la carte des environs n'est pas gratuite; il n'y a qu'un seul restaurant (très correct) mais si on reste plusieurs jours c'est lassant. le seul avantage st l'entrée proche du parc, surtout une entrée discrète avec moins de monde qu'aux 2 autres. pour une nuit d'accord mais pas plus ! nous avions réservé 3 nuits payées d'avance et nous ne sommes restés que 2; personne ne nous a demandé pourquoi ni proposé une remise. De plus, en ligne, on réserve un hôtel appelé "Lakeside hotel Plivitce et on arrive: cela s'appelle Ethno Garden... bizarre NON?

Nous avions réservé deux nuits, le jour même notre vol a été annulé nous avons donc annulé en urgence, puis notre vol a été reporté, nous avons appelé l’hôtel pour prévenir que nous serions finalement présent pour une nuit. On nous a confirmé le maintien de la réservation. Nous nous sommes alors rendu sur place pour y passer la nuit et finalement notre réservation n’existait plus ! Nous n’avons pas pu y passer la nuit. Désormais ils nous demandent de payer 253,44€ d’annulation et nous on dit de nous débrouiller avec la compagnie aérienne pour une prise en charge de ces frais.

At first glance place looks like a village in the Alps with separate cabins for 8 rooms. Rooms quite noisy with little sound proofing as you can hear next door arguing and creaking coming from upstairs rooms Reception is effectively open air. Small windows so little natural light. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles, they ran out of food quite early and floors not level. Evening meal underwhelming. Room had a kettle but no coffee. Reception wouldn't provide any and referred us to restaurant but we had to pay.

Trouver l'hôtel a été un peu compliqué car réservé sur Booking où il s'appelle "Lakeside hotel", rien à voir avec son nom réel "Ethno Houses Plitvica". L'hôtel comporte plusieurs bâtiments, plusieurs aires de stationnement et de nombreuses activités potentielles (tir à l'arc, table de tennis de table, mini zoo...) que nous n'avons pas testées. Le site est vaste, rustique : beaucoup de bois en extérieur comme en intérieur. La chambre standard est de belle taille, authentique et possède un jacuzzi en extérieur avec un petit salon d'été mais qui ne donne pas très envie à cause des grandes séparation en plastique transparent épais. La salle de bain est petite mais fonctionnelle. Gros bémol : le manque d'insonorisation. Les planchers craquent et on entend les gens parler dans leur chambre. Le restaurant propose des repas corrects, dans une salle agréable. Le personnel est très sympathique et réactif. Le plus : le parc de Plitvice est accessible en 5 minutes à pied via l'entrée numéro 3 qui n'est pas mentionnée sur le site officiel du parc ! Des sentiers de randonnée avec des vues sur les lacs sont également accessibles rapidement depuis l'hôtel. Au final, une adresse sympathique, surtout avec de jeunes enfants.
