Terrible breakfast - lousy coffee, poor quality food
No hotel amenities - could not even get a hot water urn for the room
Poor information from front desk (told us we did not need a reservation at a restaurant and we did need one
Room was not cleaned well - toenail clippings left by a previous guest
The only thing to commend this place is its locals near entrance 2 to the lakes.
The lakes are amazing; the hotel was awful and not cheap. We paid 190 euro per night and stayed 3 nights.
The hotel does extend the one day lake entrance ticket you buy if you stay longer
No elevator so you need to haul your bags up the steps (or wait for one of their staff to help).
I would recommend that anyone visiting the Plitvice lakes stay somewhere else.
Even the lobby coffee shop which you pay for served coffee made from old or scorched coffee beans.
We stayed at similar level places in rogaska slatina and the food, service and coffee was far superior. Hotel plitvice is just not trying at all. Stay away.

Hotel all' interno del parco. Comodo, con parcheggio gratuito però con aspetto vecchio. Camere con moquette senza aria condizionata e senza ascensore. Prezzo elevatissimo, non giustificato. Ci sono tante alternative a pochi minuti però sono soprattutto camere. Pulito con personale gentile ed una classica colazione internazionale.

La struttura risente chiaramente del periodo in cui è stata costruita, con ampi saloni ridondanti e camere poco fruibili. Mia moglie e io avevamo una suite con vista lago, di cui si vedeva una scorcio appena, mentre non disponeva di un vero e proprio salottino separato. Il bagno lunghissimo aveva il bidet (in che è piacevole per noi Italiani) ma la vasca e in particolare il soffione doccia era in cattivo stato di manutenzione e spruzzava acqua da tutte le parti. Come sempre all'estero abbiamo avuto problemi col piumone che o copre le spalle o i piedi, ma mai tutto il corpo. Nessuno del Personale parlava italiano, ma tutti un ottimo inglese. La cosa che più ci ha infastidito è che non disponeva di un ristorante, per cui siamo stati dirottati su un hotel vicino, non volendo noi utilizzare l'auto. La colazione invece era servita in uno degli enormi saloni ed era abbastanza apprezzabile (escluso i croissant e il caffè - il peggiore della nostra vita).

L’hôtel est simple mais l’essentiel y est : les lits confortables, les oreillers douillets, au calme. Le petit déjeuner est complet et correct. L’hôtel est très bien situé ds le parc. Les tarifs sont abordables avec remises sur restaurant et prestations annexes.

Perfectly placed next to Park entrance 2 this hotel was obviously stylish when built in the 1950s and still in good condition. I think it helped being the first day of opening for the season as it wasn't busy at all. Staff were exceptional - very helpful. The room was large and well equipped. My only slight criticism was at breakfast all the "hot" offerings such as scrambled eggs were completely cold (and they can't have been out for long as we were there 5 minutes after breakfast opened). Overall though still a 5 star experience - and you can't go wrong with the Spring offer which includes 2 days park tickets with one night B&B stay (these would cost 60 euros for a couple otherwise).

Perfect hotel right in the park. Beautiful place to stay to visit the lakes. From check in to having beers with Mirela and Gordana were very friendly and professional. The waterfalls in the parks are worth a visit to see. There are upper and lower lakes we did the whole park in one day absolutely gorgeous
