The hotel was beautiful with marble throughout and lots of character. I’ve been travelling the world for 6 months and this is the nicest room I have had in any country. It is in the centre of the old town within easy walk of places of interest and yet it is very quiet. The owners were kind and helpful and the food was very good. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Fantastic location. Nice people and very friendly. I understand that opening and closing the door for every guest during the night can make you cranky without good sleep. As an owner, I would come up with a different lock for that. However, this is not possible without a special permit because the entire building is a protected building under UNESCO, local and national government.
The rooms are unique and special for that reason and fully meet modern requirements.

The room and staff at Boris Palace were wonderful and located nicely near all tourist highlights of Plovdiv. Couples on a romantic trip may find the bed a bit squeaky but it was our only complaint.

Lovely old building that is very well appointed and maintained. Had all the facilities we require although a small fridge would be an advantage. Great 'old town' location with restricted vehicle access and street parking that was not an issue when we stayed

Great hotel. Good location short walk to many attractions. Room was amazing. Comfy bed. Great shower. We stayed 3 nights and no issues. Would stay again if return to Plovdiv. Owners were very pleasant to us.

What a great find. Middle of the Old Town. Spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Toiletries supplied. Excellent location. Basic breakfast but fresh and plenty. Would def recommend and would stay again as easy to get to town with amphitheatre within 5 minutes. Quiet in evenings. It’s a Boutique hotel but everything was well done and spotless
