Comfort Inn Plymouth

Initially, they advertised online that they had a pool, but upon arrival, I discovered that it was not in service. I even took a picture of it. Surprisingly, there are many hotels priced under $80 without a pool. I ended up paying $102 in US dollars. I booked the hotel for my kids, who always enjoy swimming. The main reason for spending extra money was for the pool. We live in Windsor, so I drove for 40 minutes, planning to leave in the morning and return at night. However, this unexpected disappoin**ent ruined my kids' long weekend. They should refund my money considering the circumstances.

The property is currently in the middle of a full renovation... The entire second floor is closed due to the renovations... Pool was closed, water was shut off for a day... No alarm clock needed as I was woken by construction above my room everyday... It is what it is was timing is everything... I just picked the wrong time to stay there... I'm sure once renovations are complete this week be a great place to stay...

Getting to the point, we stayed 2 nights for a convention. The first night around 11pm I hear loud noises from the hallway only to see the room door come open and 4 men (under the influence) walk into the room using a room key just given to them from the front desk. As a single woman this was frightening. The men were nice, thankfully and agreed to go back to the front desk. One gentleman commented, “they said there may be someone in this room but weren’t sure.” UM Who assigns a room if they aren’t sure and why weren’t they sure??? There was NO Apology or any kind of compensation made for this experience. I contacted the corporate office only to be told that I needed to contact the location for billing issues. It wasn’t a billing issue; it was an invasion of space that I rented issue. This seemed to be a business-as-usual incident for them. I did not feel safe and barely slept. I will not stay at any choice hotels going forward including Hampton by Hilton as they are apparently taking over the Plymouth Comfort inn. This was an awful experience. The hotel itself, may have been ok, however there were mattresses and other furniture in boxes all over the hotel. The room itself appeared to be unfinished. There was no coffee maker or cups, no ice bucket, no drawers, and it didn’t appear the room was cleaned in my absence. Will not go back and DO NOT Recommend.

Wow. Cheap price got me. Came in for a family emergency, didn’t want to spend a lot. Arrived around 12am. Hallways run down, whatever no big deal. It’s cheap. Room had a bug on the sheet. Shower had mold. It was late, decided to suck it up. Went to brush my teeth, black water came pouring out. I packed my bags and went to the Hilton down the street. I tried to get a refund and the property manager declined. They clearly need to trick people out of money to make money. Stay away. I travel a lot, and this is by far, the worse hotel I have ever been in. (And I only lasted less than an hour in total).
