Lovely well appointed guest house which is ideally situated in Plymouth. Just a short walk away from the barbican and Drake centre. We enjoyed our weekend stay here and would not only highly recommend this guest house to others but will definitely be rebooking ourselves in the future.

A really lovely guesthouse, very clean, comfy beds. We stayed in the family triple room, very good size, and it was nice the beds were not close together.
Size of bathroom good and, again very clean. Spare toiletries and coffee bits in downstairs hallway which was a nice touch. Helpful information book in room.
Brilliantly positioned very near waterfront. 20 minute walk to Barbican. I used the Grand Parade car park which is a minutes walk from the guest house and a very reasonable price. Looks a bit dodgy but has cameras and plenty of cars parked there overnight! If you wanted to use a parking permit offered by guest house there seemed to be plenty on on road parking too.
The negative for me was that our room was at the front and it was warm so had windows open. At night every driver in Plymouth seems to be a boy racer and the noise of the cars kept me awake, I live in the country so not used to the noise anyway, it didn’t bother my mum at all! It’s a side road but seems quite well used as a way off the Hoe as at the end of one way route.
Positives about the lovely big sash windows was lots of light and could see the birds in the tree outside very close up.
Very good communication from Carla the owner, very straightforward self check in. Very reasonable price.

We stayed for 3 separate nights over the last week. Edgcumbe is in a great location near the Hoe with plenty of local food options, but really quiet. Comfortable room, and Carla was really helpful with looking after our bag between stays. Just what we needed.

Great location on the Hoe, ideally situated for sea front, shopping centre, theatre and the Barbican 10/15 min walk away. Quiet, well kept room - just the job. Open air lido 5 mins away, decent sea front restaurants, cafes and boat trips readily available.

Easy to book with the Edgcumbe, we’ve stayed a few times and have never been disappointed Wonderful rooms, comfy beds and lovely pillows. Coupled with a great location, the Hoe on doorstep and Barbican a nice 10 min stroll, the Edgcumbe is a great place to stay Carla is fab host and the communication is fantastic.

Needed somewhere to stay the night between interviews, perfect location near the sea front and lovely clean rooms with everything you need! Lovely book with information in, and good communication on how to get in when you arrive! 10/10 nothing bad to say ☺️ highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Plymouth

The room was lovely and comfortable with everything I needed. Instructions for the accommodation were very clear and easy and I would highly recommend and would definitely return if I was in the area. Great location for the Plymouth Hoe, easy parking and everything went very smoothly

The room was clean and well maintained. A great location! It was a nice easy walk up to the Hoe to see the superb view. Room was quiet with no disturbances, and very comfortable. Check in was very easy as was checking out. Would absolutely return.
