Went for an evening dinner for 4 people. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. My one issue was having a very large group of people about 8-10 who were just drinking and standing around taking up a lot of space in the dining area when there is a separate bar area they could go to. They got very loud and we were not able to have a conversation with our dinner. In my opinion people who are just drinking should not be allowed in the dining area until after service has finished.

Had a fabulous stay at The George… Lovely friendly and helpful host and staff who went the extra mile The room was perfect…. Nothing negative to say- modern, clean, lovely comfy bed, great TV, really nice ensuite. Had everything you needed Breakfast- yummy… had Eggs Benedict and it didn’t disappoint Good parking for the car Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area

Amazing Sunday Roast, great food cooked to our separate desires, in terms of our individual roast beef preferences. We eat out a lot, my partner, friends and I agreed it was one of the best roasts in a long time. Quality and reasonably priced. Friendly staff ,a great Sunday afternoon. 5 *

A group of friends met there on a Friday night and the Service and Food was top class We had various choices from the Menu and I would like to say the Prawn/ Crab Starter was delicious as was the homemade Pie Thanks to the staff for their prompt and happy service
