Hotel Fewa Trip

Location is very good, short walking to main road where restaurants and shops are. Further down is the Phewa lake. Didn’t feel much hospitality while staying in the hotel, from arrival to departure. Reception staffs seem not friendly and hardly greet or speak, probably due to not so well-versed in English. Room wise, need some upkeep maintenance, look not as fresh as in the photos and the toilet blind has some mold spot on it. Breakfast acceptable, though more or less the same everyday, but I enjoyed the different local breads and gravies. Overall, still a pleasant stay.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience more enjoyable. There is still a bit of room for improvement in some small details, but overall it was a nice and comfortable stay.

Hotel Fewa Trip Good location 5minutes walking distance to the walking street, convenient to find the restaurant and cafe, massage, this place completely everything, some of the restaurants was opened till late night, Fresh Elements & Cafe Camellia is just 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel room where clean and comfortable. Definitely will come back again.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main road, offering good accessibility. However, even though I stayed on the 4th floor, the room was quite noisy due to heavy street traffic, especially at night. I stayed for multiple nights, and the housekeeping service was disappointing. The room was not cleaned, and no fresh towels, shampoo, shower gel, or drinking water were provided unless I specifically asked. Even the replacement towels had a noticeable unpleasant smell. The rooftop door was very difficult to open, and the rooftop area itself was quite dirty. It was disappointing, as it had the potential to be a nice place to relax. The worst experience by far was the hotel’s laundry service. I submitted two packs of laundry totaling 6 kg using their advertised 24-hour service. After more than 30 hours, I received only one pack weighing just 3 kg, with a laundry tag showing a different room number. When I raised the issue, the staff first suggested I check if my clothes had been combined into one pack. The supervisor then told me to contact the outsourced laundry company myself to find out why clothes were missing — even though I had no contact details or prior dealings with them. They claimed the remaining laundry would be delivered within half an hour. After waiting over an hour with no update, I had to go back to the lobby to follow up again. They later brought me a different bag of laundry that also had my room number written on it but clearly wasn’t mine. The staff then said the shop was closed and my clothes could only be returned the next morning. Eventually, after persistent follow-ups (and because I had no clean clothes left), they finally returned my laundry — again with someone else’s room number on the bag. Throughout the process, the staff appeared very irresponsible. They kept shifting blame to other staff members or the outsourced laundry company instead of taking ownership of the mistake. This turned a simple laundry service into an extremely stressful and unreliable experience. While the location is decent, the poor housekeeping, difficult and dirty rooftop, and especially the terrible laundry service significantly affected my stay. I would strongly advise against using the laundry service here and would think twice before staying at this hotel again.

Basic and informal hotel. Clean and neat. However, the shower curtain is a big problem. Whoever could finish a shower without wetting the toilet floor should deserve a medal. I used all the towels to cover the floor after shower. This is pretty annoying especially since they do not change the towels or make the room everyday.
