Hotel Donosti

The hotel service is terrible. We went with our whole family. We were approx 26 people. Check in time the hotel owner (The one who always stays in reception) was very sweet like honey but check out time his attitude changed. We checked in for 2 nights. First night we checked in when we came back to our rooms there was a lots of cockroach and ants in the room. Not only one room we found in every room. Even on the bed there was cockroaches and bedsheets was not changed. It was around 11pm at night. Bin was never washed. Smell and cockroachs. We called reception and the staff came with the cockroach killer spray. Whole room was smelly and we couldn’t stay there. We requested staff to call hotel owner. (Staff member called owner and explain about the issue infront of us but the reply of the owner was shocking. He said that he can’t come just spary and leave. Tell the guest that the issue will be resolve next morning when he is back.) Staff said that there is a lot of cockroach and insect in the room. We can’t sleep but he took it really casually. Our little babies (Brother and sister) was crying seeing that. We had to go mid night to find another hotel. Hoping if we can find a room but unfortunately we were in need of 10 rooms and there were no availability that time. It was a nightmare for us on that day with sleepless night. Next day morning we were expecting owner will be there but he wasn’t there until late morning. When we explain about it his reply was I doesn’t know anything . Terrible service. I have never seen a hotel like this. Please ensure to ask menu to owner first because he never provided us at last when we ask him to make a bill and ask about the price of food on check out. He said we should asked him menu but even we ask that time he didn’t showed any menu. First day when staff were serving us dinner to refill the owner advised staff not to top up more rice be slow. We paid set price to him per person. This is very cheap comment he made. I have never heard this things in hospitality on my entire life. I don’t recommend anyone to stay there.
